Dreamland (round 3)

[A strange house of some sort sits in the pitch black nothingness that exists around it. For those just now wandering in, they will be drawn to the building, finding it lit up in a way that it should not be. It's as if the whole area- house, yard, fence, and giant sakura tree- all give off their own light, and the newly-arrived are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

Inside the boundary of the yard, the familiar faces of those who have passed on already will greet them. Depending on who is asked, they might give an accurate explanation. But even if they don't, one thing is clear: you don't want to leave this place. The area outside feels Dangerous, and it is probably best to stay put.

Fortunately, the house is built in an old style, and there are many rooms to explore. One room on the second floor seems locked, but the rest are open to explore as desired. The standard rooms are easy to find: kitchen, a W.C. and a bathroom, a sitting room of some sort, and a couple bedrooms (with plenty of futons for the dead to use). There are also several tatami mat rooms with nothing in them currently, but it seems like there might be some use for those rooms.

Around the house, perches for birds can be found. No birds are on them currently, though.

Sometimes Watanuki can be found in the house, but most of the time the dead will be left to their own devices. The question is, what will they do here?]

[It doesn't matter what your character is doing, they're going to end up in the yard somehow. Either they walked through a door and ended up there rather than wherever they wanted to, or they just blinked and suddenly they're in the yard. Whatever the case, they're all there and Watanuki is standing on the porch, looking irritated and scandalized.]

Okay, apparently some of you are unaware of how things work here. So I'm going to educate all of you at once about it.

I know this looks like a shop, but it's actually a dream version of the shop. You're in my dreams. This is happening because my personal magic, outside of any witchy stuff, lets me talk to people in my dreams. So I pulled all of you here to 'talk with you' for an extended period of time, so that your souls don't cross over or get trapped or whatever might happen to them on the island.

You're in my dreams, and that means that literally everything around you is me. The ground, the walls, even the tree, it's all pieces of my dreams, and thus parts of 'me'.

[He kept a relatively even voice through most of it, but now he's actually letting his irritation show through.]

Which means that everything you do affects me! I feel everything you're doing. Every. Single. Thing. So when you guys fight, it makes me irritated and defensive, because that's how you feel when you fight! And when you use words to hurt each other, I feel both sides of the argument! And I'm not even going to go into what some of you who shall remain nameless have been doing, but I'm sure your imaginations can fill in the blanks.

So be more conscientious of that kind of thing! Your feelings affect mine right now! And with so many of you here, it's really easy to mess with my emotions! And I don't like it one bit!

I'm not usually irritated or defensive when I fight, so that totally isn't me.

[Shit-eating grin of the absolutely unrepentant and apparently zero self-reflection for anything else. Then again, it's not like he needed Watanuki to tell him that he's all around them and stuff. Oops.]

Your morbid fascination with pretty much everything is actually acting like a counterweight to a lot of that, so I guess you're the most useful here in terms or emotions.

[And feeling lonely. But he's not fighting or making out with anyone, so he's innocent.]

I wanted everyone to hear it at once, so I only had to explain it once.

[Hey, he won’t get to do anything until he’s out of your dream anyway, noodle. His would-be boyfriend is alive. Don’t remind him of this fact, he knows it perfectly well.]

Alright. Can I go back to sleep now?

[ Today Natsuno has the grace to not look completely unflappable, but he's still playing it pretty cool. ]

That's a new one. Usually I get told that I don't have emotions.

[ ........he's totally had a lot of emotions here, but his general is pretty even keeled. Maybe that helps? ]

[Shadow makes a weird snorting sound though his nose and then covers his mouth, shoulders shaking a bit]

[Shadow don't do this to him, he's an angry noodle who needs to be taken seriously.]
