[Yeah, the alarm alone isn't going to get Atsushi up. He'll turn off the alarm on the tablet, barely registering the fact that he doesn't own one, before rolling over and going back to sleep.
And then a few seconds later he rolls back over and grabs the tablet, because he thought he saw something about breakfast in there.
Needless to say, Atsushi shows up for breakfast. Even if it's early, you can't argue with free food. And, um. He seems to be eating quite a bit of food. Like, there's a whole stack of plates on the table next to him, and he's still going at it.
At least the buffet doesn't seem to run out?]
Exploring
[Time to figure out what this place is like! Even if he's not supposed to be here, it's not like he has anywhere else to really be right now, so he'll take his time looking over everything. He'll be avoiding the pool for Reasons, and he won't even go down that hall of the resort. Instead, he finds himself watching the rats run through the tubes lining the halls.
More interestingly, the rats seem to want to avoid him. If they see him, they speed right past, and anyone familiar with rat body language might be able to tell that they are alarmed. Pretty much as soon as they smell the air, they're out of there.
It's a bit disappointing, but. Well.]
I guess I should have expected that. Oh well.
[Yeah. It's nothing new to him.]
BODY-TOUCHING (CW: gore, PTSD)
[The funny thing is, Atsushi isn't even trying to look for trouble. He's just trying to see if maybe he can try out this 'skiing' thing. But when he goes into the ski shop, he's greeted by the sight of a body torn apart and left behind in the splashes of blood painted by the rather violent death this person had. It's so bad that, at a glance, Atsushi can't even tell who is dead here.
What's worse? This kind of a sight isn't new to him, and he's being reminded of that fact right about now too.
Eyes wide and with his hands clamped down over his mouth, Atsushi backs out of the ski shop. He keeps going until he runs into a wall, and even then he tries to take a step or two more before he seems to realize that something is in the way. And through it all, his eyes never leave the body. He seems locked on and frozen, unable to look away.
((OOC: as a note, this is Atsushi from the BEAST novel, which is a canon AU and is why he might act a bit differently from the normal Atsushi. If you don't want spoilers for the novel, just let me know in your tag!))]
