[On the instant of your death, you're suddenly outside of your body - probably staring down at the remains it's become.

Yet, you're not alone. For all of you (except Szayel), a young man appears from behind you, his face set into a firm, yet sad, scowl. His shaggy strawberry blonde hair is pretty eye-catching, along with the black and white Shihakusho he wears and the large sword on his back, even as he gently tries to lead you back into the lobby and away from what was once your body. You can still clearly hear and see the living, if you want to try - but they can't see or hear you.

'Welcome to the world of the dead in this Resort,' he says, quietly. 'Looks like you're stuck here with the rest of us.'

He hands you a tablet, just like the one you had before. "You'll need this if you want to keep talking to them,' he explains, looking sad.

It looks like you've passed on, and yet...You still feel like you have a role to play in all of this.]

Only one person gets immunity because they happened to know someone who died and contacted the spirits on their behalf.

It would be different if we got them to agree not to feed on anyone after all this, but you're just interested in protecting one person out of everyone.

[ She's quiet for a good moment and she closes her eyes as if to think over what she has to say and just simply sighs, before answering. ]

I know it's fucked up. I... realize that.

To be honest, I don't want them to kill any more people. I want this game to end. I was planning to ask for the worst case scenario, anyway. It's selfish of me, but I don't want that person to die. [ It's there when she opens her eyes again, her gaze a little steely. ] And I don't want to think about what would happen if the mafia stopped playing the game.

[He kind of figured she knew what she was getting into. He wasn't really interested in trying to convince her otherwise from the start.]

What do you think will happen if they do?

[ She lets out a heavy, long suffering sigh as she stares at the ceiling. ]

Atsushi might be forced to murder everyone involved with the game for not playing it.

That'd be a pretty big problem. You think the resort would really go that far?

I don't know. It's possible. I don't want to risk finding out.

But... I remember what Rean - what the Jorogumo said to me. "I'm just playing the game", he told me.

Maybe I should talk to him, too. He's not as bad as the barghest, right?

Oh, yeah, definitely. I mean, he didn't kill me immediately, and I think he actually listened to my request before I died.

Not to mention he made it quick.

Well. . . I kind of just got knocked out by the poison? He kind of wanted to make it quick, although we kind of stalled by talking like things were normal for a while.

We chatted for a while, but that's just 'cause I knew he was going to kill me and he knew that I knew. He was really excited about his savior.

Pretty much the only thing I wasn't conscious for was the beheading!

I think it was the same for us, really, but we had a mostly normal conversation. I roasted him a lot, actually.

But his 'savior', huh... I don't think I heard anything about that, but it could have happened after I died? Since I kind of died right outside my room, actually.
