GRAVEYARD
[On the instant of your death, you're suddenly outside of your body - probably staring down at the remains it's become.
Yet, you're not alone. For all of you (except Szayel), a young man appears from behind you, his face set into a firm, yet sad, scowl. His shaggy strawberry blonde hair is pretty eye-catching, along with the black and white Shihakusho he wears and the large sword on his back, even as he gently tries to lead you back into the lobby and away from what was once your body. You can still clearly hear and see the living, if you want to try - but they can't see or hear you.
'Welcome to the world of the dead in this Resort,' he says, quietly. 'Looks like you're stuck here with the rest of us.'
He hands you a tablet, just like the one you had before. "You'll need this if you want to keep talking to them,' he explains, looking sad.
It looks like you've passed on, and yet...You still feel like you have a role to play in all of this.]

... Do I look that bad?
[Fine. He moves over to make room for Atsushi.]
Take the gauze and wrap it around there- make sure the padding is thick- then the bandages. Don't go too tight or you may cut off circulation.
[He watches Atsushi work for a minute as he gathers up his stuff to move on to Ripley.]
... You know, not all of them are going to forgive you. Don't push them.

[Well. He's dead now, so. No more secrets!
Also he is decidedly not looking at the Medic, and has his eyes on Rean (and then Ripley) as he bandages him up, following Medic's directions carefully. If nothing else, he's good at following directions.]
I'm well-versed in having people not forgive me. It doesn't mean I can't help to save them.

And I was an armed mercenary as well as a field medic. I've killed more men and women than you can dare to count. I've put brains into pumpkins and torn skeletons from living men.
[He tightens the tourniquet around Ripley's arm.]
After tonight, not all of them will want your help. Not all of them will trust your help. Do what you can to prove to them otherwise, but don't expect miracles.
... Also, Ripley may throw a chair at you when she gets a chance. It's your choice if you sit still for it or not.

[Honestly, the real talk there is greatly appreciated. He's spent the last month being afraid of being instantly killed for admitting to his past, so seeing such nonchalance is refreshing.]
I'll hold still too. I definitely deserve it, if my actions got Ripley-san in trouble.

She got shot because she destroyed resort property, I believe. Trying to stop you.

...Ah. Right. That's against the rules.
