[On the instant of your death, you're suddenly outside of your body - probably staring down at the remains it's become.

Yet, you're not alone. For all of you (except Szayel), a young man appears from behind you, his face set into a firm, yet sad, scowl. His shaggy strawberry blonde hair is pretty eye-catching, along with the black and white Shihakusho he wears and the large sword on his back, even as he gently tries to lead you back into the lobby and away from what was once your body. You can still clearly hear and see the living, if you want to try - but they can't see or hear you.

'Welcome to the world of the dead in this Resort,' he says, quietly. 'Looks like you're stuck here with the rest of us.'

He hands you a tablet, just like the one you had before. "You'll need this if you want to keep talking to them,' he explains, looking sad.

It looks like you've passed on, and yet...You still feel like you have a role to play in all of this.]

The latter. Although he told me [ she laces her fingers together, looking uncomfortable ] that we were friends. He said that I was an irreplaceable friend to him and I think, more than the rejection. . . that's what hurts the most.

[ She's just going to sigh a little heavily. ]

Honestly, I don't know. I mean. . . I guess I'm glad that he still cares enough to consider me as a friend like that in spite of everything, but it's complicated? I guess. Like I said, I don't really know what to think.

Wouldn't trying to forget things as they are right now be kind of messy, then?

It's more that-- I want to forget about my feelings for him. Just go back to being friends. Nothing more than that. Forget that I ever confessed or anything like that.

You can't really take something like that back, though... I mean, unless you want the Foundation wiping your memories again, I guess.

[dereban]

No.

Absolutely not. Never again. And I know I can't take it back. It's just... I don't know if I can act the same around him ever again? A part of me just wants to avoid him until we have to go.

Are you really okay with waiting that long? I mean, Rean will probably get out of here okay, but...

When I talked to the jorogumo, it sounded like he just wanted to stay here. You really might never see him again once we leave.

And that's if the living don't kill him for real.

[ She shakes her head and even lets out a bit of a shaky breath. ]

I honestly don't know. I can't just fix my emotions immediately, all I can do is just clamp them down like I've been doing this whole time. I'll figure something out.

It would be nice if you could talk to him again just the way you are now.
