GRAVEYARD
[On the instant of your death, you're suddenly outside of your body - probably staring down at the remains it's become.
Yet, you're not alone. For all of you (except Szayel), a young man appears from behind you, his face set into a firm, yet sad, scowl. His shaggy strawberry blonde hair is pretty eye-catching, along with the black and white Shihakusho he wears and the large sword on his back, even as he gently tries to lead you back into the lobby and away from what was once your body. You can still clearly hear and see the living, if you want to try - but they can't see or hear you.
'Welcome to the world of the dead in this Resort,' he says, quietly. 'Looks like you're stuck here with the rest of us.'
He hands you a tablet, just like the one you had before. "You'll need this if you want to keep talking to them,' he explains, looking sad.
It looks like you've passed on, and yet...You still feel like you have a role to play in all of this.]

I don't know that I did as good a job at warning the Jorogumo away as I could have, in the end...
no subject
That's... not really anything you have to apologize for, though. Besides, if it's between this and being free to hurt anyone else, I...
[Well, he knows which option he'd prefer.]

Minato can't blame him, since...he'd feel the exact same way.]
... Well. I guess it's all over now, huh...? No point in dwelling too much.
The others... they'll find a way to help us out. I'm sure of it.

Yeah, they definitely will. And... I'll do my part from over here, too. Even if it isn't much.
no subject
... Yeah, I will too. Let's both work hard together. We're still here, after all...we can still do things. So long as that's the case, there's still hope.
no subject
Right... we can't give up, not when we're so close to the end.
[He says it like he's trying to psych himself up more than anything else, but it's an effort. Still, once he's gotten that out of his system, his posture slumps again, although this time it looks less defeated and more neutral.]
Anyways, you seem pretty calm about this, but... I still feel like I should ask how you're feeling. I mean, it was probably kind of a shock to you too, right?
no subject
A little bit, but... maybe not as much as you'd think.
I... [Hm. Well. Is there really much of a point to hiding it?] Before I ended up here, I died back home.
