GRAVEYARD
[On the instant of your death, you're suddenly outside of your body - probably staring down at the remains it's become.
Yet, you're not alone. For all of you (except Szayel), a young man appears from behind you, his face set into a firm, yet sad, scowl. His shaggy strawberry blonde hair is pretty eye-catching, along with the black and white Shihakusho he wears and the large sword on his back, even as he gently tries to lead you back into the lobby and away from what was once your body. You can still clearly hear and see the living, if you want to try - but they can't see or hear you.
'Welcome to the world of the dead in this Resort,' he says, quietly. 'Looks like you're stuck here with the rest of us.'
He hands you a tablet, just like the one you had before. "You'll need this if you want to keep talking to them,' he explains, looking sad.
It looks like you've passed on, and yet...You still feel like you have a role to play in all of this.]

THIRD VOTE
Shirou's not commenting on it because he's too busy staring at Snake's charred remains. In fact, it seems he's completely unaware of anything else at the moment.]

Is not something Shirou would be suggesting even if he wasn't having flashbacks right now.]

...
She decides to just sit next to him.]

But...it's just Ripley. He calms, though only a little, and, with an unstable hand, reaches out for her.
He half expects his hand will just pass through.]
no subject
...Actually, she can't just sit here and not speak--]
You realize when I said I wanted you to vote for me, that didn't mean also dying immediately afterwards?
no subject
You made a compelling point. [Hnrnrghhh] Didn't I tell you I'm not cut out to be a leader?
no subject
Well, let's hope at least one of the kids is cut out to be a leader. Or else our deaths will be meaningless.

Snake-
[He clears his throat, pausing. Then:]
David. David, yes?
[Medic moves to stand in front of him, blocking Snake's view of his own body.]
It's- it's alright. You're still here.
no subject
Medic...?
[Everything blends into vision, focus sharpening, he's back in the now...whatever that was.]
That's...really you?
no subject
Of course it's me. You did just die, after all. You foolish, foolish man...
[He looks tired. And sad. And concerned. But he holds Snake's shoulders in a tight grip.]
no subject
...It's good to see you.
[He exhales, trying to stabilize himself.]
Sorry about the circumstances.
no subject
It's... good to be seen, I suppose.
There's nothing to be done about it. Just don't die a second time.
Please.

And then Inaba notices that look and she immediately gets it and is just going to pull him into a hug even if he might wind up being unaware of that, too. ]
. . .You don't have to force yourself to watch anymore, Emiya.

Inaba...?
[It's not completely pulling him out of the memory, but it helps a little. After all, there had been no one there to hold him on that day.]

Don't let go.
[It's okay to need the support, he tells himself. It's okay.
(He doesn't really believe that, of course. He doesn't deserve to be comforted when other people are hurting.)]

[ She'll stay with him for as long as she needs it, because she knows the reasoning behind why he's acting like this. ]
Unless you want me to, I'm not going to let you go. It's fine.
no subject
...Thank you, Inaba.
[He's going to need a while.]

H-hey... you alright?

What...?

It's just that you looked a little out of it for a moment. I was thinking that maybe it'd be good if you just sat down or... something.
no subject
I... I don't...
[It's Rean in front of him, right? That means he's at the resort. And yet, the fire in his memory feels so much realer right now.]
no subject
Come on.
[He'll try to gently turn Shirou around and slowly lead him over to a couch.]
