[On the instant of your death, you're suddenly outside of your body - probably staring down at the remains it's become.

Yet, you're not alone. For all of you (except Szayel), a young man appears from behind you, his face set into a firm, yet sad, scowl. His shaggy strawberry blonde hair is pretty eye-catching, along with the black and white Shihakusho he wears and the large sword on his back, even as he gently tries to lead you back into the lobby and away from what was once your body. You can still clearly hear and see the living, if you want to try - but they can't see or hear you.

'Welcome to the world of the dead in this Resort,' he says, quietly. 'Looks like you're stuck here with the rest of us.'

He hands you a tablet, just like the one you had before. "You'll need this if you want to keep talking to them,' he explains, looking sad.

It looks like you've passed on, and yet...You still feel like you have a role to play in all of this.]

[It IS Szayel! He has a few very minor scratches, but doesn't really look any worse for wear. He carrying the Nue, bridal style in his arms. The thing is passed out, with a heavy duty rubber ball in its maw, and is twitching cutely.

Szayel steps in and places the Nue in its little pillow nest]

Phew! That was quite the workout.

I see you didn't get too thoroughly mauled. I guess you have a way with dogs. Or... dog-like things.

[Whoaaaa! Yoshi looks over admiringly.]

Yeah, I totally would've died. Does this mean we can start on the snacks?

Ah, well. I do have something Kurosaki does not, and that's my Hierro. My skin is quite literally as tough as iron! Though I may be able to teach him how to use it -- later.

[he says nothing about the snacks, so uh go ahead Yoshi???]

The nue is just a playful, stupid creature -- I introduced it to "fetch" and it just about lost its mind in happiness. [adjusts his glasses] Did you find anything of use in here? Besides... [he sneers a bit] ... a bunch of filthy hair?

Are you sure you should be calling it stupid while you're holding it?

[That feels slightly like tempting fate.

He turns the letter around so Szayel can read it, though.]

Yoshi found this under its bed.

I dosed it with a powerful narcotic once it started becoming fatigued, it won't be waking up until tomorrow morning. [he sets the creature in its bed and it paddles a little. Aww. It's dreaming!] I'm also fairly certain it considers me its "best friend" because I introduced it to the ball, so I'm safe.

[his hands now free, Szayel takes the letter and the pieces of paper and reads them. He lifts his eyebrows in surprise]

Oh my. Someone is quite fond of little stars and hearts, aren't they? Well... decorated or not, these are some useful breadcrumbs that have been left behind. By this "Outsider"? I wonder. [he neatly folds the letter back up and gives it to Medic] We should inform the others, if we can.
