[On the instant of your death, you're suddenly outside of your body - probably staring down at the remains it's become.

Yet, you're not alone. For all of you (except Szayel), a young man appears from behind you, his face set into a firm, yet sad, scowl. His shaggy strawberry blonde hair is pretty eye-catching, along with the black and white Shihakusho he wears and the large sword on his back, even as he gently tries to lead you back into the lobby and away from what was once your body. You can still clearly hear and see the living, if you want to try - but they can't see or hear you.

'Welcome to the world of the dead in this Resort,' he says, quietly. 'Looks like you're stuck here with the rest of us.'

He hands you a tablet, just like the one you had before. "You'll need this if you want to keep talking to them,' he explains, looking sad.

It looks like you've passed on, and yet...You still feel like you have a role to play in all of this.]

[Szayelaporro is well put together as usual, wearing a crisp white outfit that would be unfamiliar to those who only saw him alive. He has his notebook and his purple pen]

I'm here to conduct my post-mortem interview. Are you available to speak?

[He glances over with a bit of surprise, but then nods.]

Uh, yeah? I guess I am.

[perfeccion]

Excellent. [he takes a seat, and invites Shirou to do the same] Let's start with your role. The Seeker, was it? It's a shame that Akira's little ruse wasn't enough to take the heat off you... Would you explain to me how you collected your information?

[diesifkilled]

[He sits down, nodding again.]

Yeah, the Seeker. I had this 8-ball that I'd shake while thinking of a person, and I'd learn their role.

[Yes, really.]

I left it in my room, under my pillow. Even if it's still there, I assume no one else is going to be able to use it.

[perfeccion]

[he sighs] Probably not. But we would be remiss if we didn't at least try and pass it on. [he pushes his glasses up] What roles had you uncovered before your... untimely demise?

[diesifkilled]

In the first week, I discovered that Akira is the Tripwire. In the second, that Flat was the Barghest. This week, just before I died, I found out that Cynthia is the Ruler.

[perfeccion]

Mmm, I see. [Szayel makes notes] I heard you speaking about Akira earlier -- he's set to self destruct if he is killed in any way. That could be helpful. What role does the Ruler play?

[diesifkilled]

I have no idea. I only got the name of the role, not how it works or even which side it's aligned with.

[perfeccion]

Well... all data is good data. [scribble scribble. He's just working on the assumption that Akira point blank told him about his own role] I think all the Mafia roles are accounted for, now... so the Ruler is either Town or third party. Now... [glasses adjustment!] Please walk me through what happened last night.

[because SOMEONE (ICHIGO) won't let him just watch for himself!!]

While I was talking with Makoto, we were approached by Owain. He wanted to show off his new sword, and... I thought there was enough time left before midnight, so I took him up on it.

[Please don't point out how stupid that was. Please.]

When we got to the courtyard, he used a lightning spell to incapacitate me. I tried to fight back, but that puppy appeared and jumped on me. I heard Makoto order it to stay. After that, Owain stabbed me several times.

[He pauses, thoughtful.]

It's kind of weird, actually. I think he was aiming for the heart with the first strike, but missed. I'd thought he was more skilled than that.

[perfeccion]

[he writes down everything before shaking his head] I really must train that creature better. At least it isn't dangerous. [he taps the pen on the notebook] So the Barghest made the jump to Miss Makoto, and Owain is... our as of yet unknown third mafia member. [another shake of his head] If the same is true of this third monster as the barghest, it's possible it isn't great at using a sword and doesn't have access to Owain's skills.
