Round 4 graveyard

[When your character dies, however that may be, they will feel themselves floating. For a moment or two they will linger at the site of their death, hovering just above everyone, watching.

Then they will feel a pull and they will get tugged all the way to the studio, through a wall, through the hall, through a door.

The place they end up in looks to be a backstage area. There is an area for storing supplies, a coat rack full of empty prinny costumes, a lounge area, and a place to rest. All of these areas are marked by a green border between the described rooms and the doors that go elsewhere. You will see prinnies come and go, hurrying around as they do their work for the day. But within those borders, some of the prinnies will take off their suits, revealing the human souls within. Men, women, old, young, there is a large mix. They are all very dead, though, and seem used to being dead.

And among all of the dead is one living girl, one who seems to be running the show behind the set. She can be found giving instructions to prinnies and telling them where to put things, but she will always take time to give everyone who arrives the same warning:]

Hi there! I'm Marona, and this is the backstage area. There's a lot to do yet, so if you could help us out I would really appreciate it.

All the areas with the green on the floor are safe to be in as ghosts. Your souls won't get pulled away as long as you stay in the safe areas. If you want to go outside of there, though, you have to put on a prinny suit. And if you do that, you have to follow the rules of the prinnies: no killing anyone, follow the orders you're given by the living, and try not to blow up too much.

If you have any questions, I'll be here! But you can come and go as you like. Just don't give Mr. Dazai too much trouble, okay?

[ Goro prinny will seem perfectly fine with taking on that job, yes! ]

[He just nods along with the others because fuck you he's not saying dood.]

[They will get led to an area where all the dinners are being prepared by actual human cooks and not prinnies, surprisingly enough. The dinners are a really pitiful meal of what looks to be oatmeal, a biscuit, and some weird-looking meat. It's not at all appetizing.

But they can carry the trays down to the lockup rooms, which is where they will find several members of the previous crew, the one that had been in charge of things before the hostile takeover. Gabe is there too, locked in a room by himself. He seems rather disgruntled too.]

[arraignments]

[ He's being as careful as possible about not... staring? But he is going to be glancing around, taking in the details as they waddle along.

Once he has a tray, he'll be heading to Gabe's, if nobody else is looking to be doing that. ]

Time to eat, dood!

I ain't eatin'.

[That gruff reply is about as nice of a reply as he can give. Also his powers seem to be dampened, but not entirely gone like in the other cells. Possibly because he would literally fall apart without at least some of his powers.]

[breadloaf]

[ flipper flapping of concern. ]

Dood, you gotta eat! Act like a model prisoner and all that, dood.

[Gabe looks up to glare at Mitsuruprinny, and he even starts to snap at him.]

That is absolute bullshit-

[But then he sees something, and he stops. And he really looks at Mitsuru.]

...hey. Who're you?

[arraignments]

[ Prinkechi is going to look between Prinsuru and the man.

Hmmmm...? ]

[Hmm indeed.

Gabe looks to Akechi next.]

You. You're that one kid. The one hanging around Kurusu.

[It looks like he can see their souls for who they are somehow.]

Oh... Can you can see right through us...? These suits I mean.

[ Is this okay to talk about? ]

You're staring very hard!

[ Since it doesn't seem like anyone is paying them any attention, Prinkechi will relax a tiny bit. ]

... Doing okay?

Yeah, I can see you guys.

[He's talking in a low voice now, trying to avoid raising suspicion.]

Is THAT the plan they had for all of you? Really?

[It seems like Gabe is at least somewhat aware of what's going on at the house. Or at least what should be going on.]

It's not the worst one I bet, dood— er, sir?

[ Marona is trying her best]

How... Are you? Do you know what else is going on beyond a takeover and rigging us to lose favor?

Just that any plans 'that kid' had are gonna get broken in the worst way possible. Things aren't gonna be pretty.

Look, if I were you, I'd talk that one girl into taking you guys and running for the hills. This is a lost fight.

[He'll be paying careful attention to the path they're taking as well as the details of the lock up rooms. Is there any noticeable dampening of their powers as they come in?

Well, since it seems like Akechi has Gabe covered, Sandalphon will start walking over to the others in the previous crew with a tray of food. ...Of course, he refuses to say anything, so he is currently mute/shy prinny at the moment and other people should probably tag along so questions can actually be asked.

But hey, who's in the previous crew group anyways? Anyone recognizable or are there any with particularly standout features?]

[Not their powers specifically, as the dampeners seem to be inside the individual cells only, and you all are outside of it. But anyone paying attention will notice the power dampeners within the cells.

Also, the previous crew is made up of everyone who had been at site 4 just prior to the start of the round, as well as the people from the TDM who didn't get apped into the round.

Or, well. Some of them. Because some of them got hella murdered too.]

[Hm, well that's good to know if they need to help break someone out eventually. Also hella murdered as in they're also hanging around somewhere in prinny suits or hella murdered as in 'this is an inference from them not being in the cells'?

Also, as he starts delivering trays to people, would he hear any interesting tidbits or is he actually going to have to start talking (unfortunately)?]

[He will hear a lot of complaining. Like, a lot. And there's some arguing over the rank of the man in charge here. Some say he's an A-class agent, others say he's an O5. They can't seem to reach a consensus on that.

They also seem generally aware of the fact that something big is happening, but not specific details. They express hope that Gabe's plan works, whatever it may be.]

[Ah yes, the sweet sounds of people complaining. He can probably sympathize, really.

Does it seem like many of them had actually seen the man in charge, or is it more like people just tossing around rumors and theories?

Also, how closely are the prinnies being watched as they deliver the food?]

[A couple have seen him, but a lot of it is rumor-tossing. The ones who sound like they saw him are the ones saying he's an O5, though.

Also, the prinnies are completely disregarded. It's like they're decorations on the wall. Even the prisoners don't pay them much mind. They could get away with murder in here and nobody would notice.]

[Hmmmm. Well, that information could come in handy eventually so he'll file that away.

More importantly though: time to murder the shit out of all the guards then-- okay no he's not that fucking crazy. Maybe tomorrow.

But related to that idea, does it seem like it could be feasible for the prinnies to smuggle shit to the prisoners or no? Because if the guards ain't checking the insides of the cells... well.]

[It certainly seems possible to smuggle something in! But Sandalphon will have to choose wisely, as he will probably only get one shot at it.]

[Time to load Gabe up on cheap booze then!! Or not. Either way, lax security measures are always good for them. Filing that away too, and...

Okay fine, he'll finally make an attempt to speak to the prisoners. He'll gravitate towards one of the agents that have seen the person in charge of this operation to drop the tray off. And as innocuously as possible:]

...What are you guys talking about?

[That agent looks up, a bit surprised to see a prinny talking to him. He gives the prinny a curious look before answering.]

The guy in charge of this place now. You've seen him, right? Short, with the ponytail?
