What you know so far (R5)

RULES

- The death of someone, accidental or on purpose, will trigger a trial.
- Everyone living gets one vote. Whoever gets the most votes at the trial will be executed.
- The number of victims and 'those voted out' must be equal. If two people are murdered, two people must be executed. The two people with the most votes in that situation would be executed.
- Deaths during trials do not count for 'execution'. Someone must still be voted out and executed.
- You cannot vote for the dead, even if they were the killer in the case.
- You do not have to vote for the killer.
- However, you must figure out who killed the week's victim.
- This game will continue until only one person is left alive.
- No breaking out, no destroying the walls, floor, or ceiling. other damage is allowed but will not be repaired.
- Attacking the Vessel means you will be punished.
- Everyone must show up at the trial and vote. If you do not show up or you refuse to vote, you will die.
- You must vote at trial, or die.
- Culprits may not confess to their crimes until they are actively cornered at trial - if they confess before then, they will be executed by the Vessel.
- No flushing evidence down the toilets. Don't put anything in the toilets that isn't supposed to be there.
- Any death brought about as a punishment by the Vessel will not count as a death to be voted on at trial.
- Rules are subject to change as needed.

What the R5 characters know:

- They have been ‘created’ using a machine known as SCP-3650
- Agents have basic self defence training, and gun training. They can all speak English.
- They have been selected for a mission to investigate the Winchester mansion.
- A high-ranking agent has gone missing within the house itself. Their mission is to locate this agent, retrieve them, and bring them back to the Foundation.
- They do not yet know any information about the agent other than that they are ‘high-ranking’ and male.
- House is cursed yo
- There is a barrier keeping them in the house.

What the R1-R4 characters know:

- Everything listed under the ‘R5 characters’ section.
- Information on the character profiles (dossiers) is all that has been shared with the Foundation. As far as everyone is concerned ICly, that information is accurate - however, they do not have access to those files while on the mission.
- An O-5 named Tages went missing 20 years ago, a couple months before ‘The Winchester Incident’.
- The last known use of his power was at the Winchester mansion at some point during The Winchester Incident.
- The barrier around the house currently (NOT the one in place 20 years ago to lock the R5 people in) is Tages-flavored.
- Every agent who went on that mission 20 years ago has been reported as ‘deceased’. The dossiers for them are currently on site at the Hayes Mansion.
- There is a barrier around the mansion that seems to have affected everyone’s memories about Tages and the Winchester Incident. As the barrier gets weaker, more information about that incident is gained.
- R1-R4 people were asked to find Tages because if not then Mayuri is getting promoted to Tages’ O-5 position. And that’s bad.
- They have until June 6th to find Tages or a replacement.
- Yoshi was able to get some information on Tages. He's a good negotiator and has fabulous hair and sad eyes.

Information on O-5 candidate:

1: They have to be unaging. Immortality isn't strictly needed, but it needs to be someone who won't die of old age.

2: It has to be someone who has proven themselves to be loyal to the Foundation. So, A-rank or above.

3: It has to be someone over the age of 50, or mentally equivalent to that.

4: It has to be someone with powers that have been fully documented.

Also OOCly it is known that the O-5 candidate has to be an NPC, not someone played by a player.

Information found:

- Saturday, week 1: There is a note in the kitchen that says "Don't store food in the pantry, it likes to move around. We lost a week's worth of rations that way. Keep food in the kitchen."

Link: https://thefoundation.dreamwidth.org/26052.html?thread=23029188#cmt23029188

Information found:

- Sunday, week 1: the miasma level is 1. Characters who have nullification powers or divinity were not affected by it. (At this time.)

Link: https://thefoundation.dreamwidth.org/26052.html?thread=23314628#cmt23314628

Information found:

- Sunday, week 1: a note was found that said "I don't know how much longer I can hold out." It was written in a desperate hand, and was covered in bloodstains.
- The note had a Foundation logo that was half covered.
- More words came to light after Subete uses his ability:

"This place twists people. It twisted my entire team, and it's getting to me, too. I don't know how much longer I have as 'myself.' Classify this skip as Keter as soon as possible!

If I don't make it out of here, my body has to be recovered or at least found. This is imperative - there are processes that can't go through unless they know my status.

Sorry, Erin. Seems like I won't be able to come to this year's thanksgiving after all."

Link: https://thefoundation.dreamwidth.org/26052.html?thread=23272388#cmt23272388

Information found:

- The reason behind the miasma levels increasing was because 'demon juice' was thrown at the vessel. They say specifically that "Tried to burn me or whatever, but....it just added to us."
- The vessel looks and sounds like Brock/Takeshi from Pokemon.
- Vessel mentions that the current group is "wearing the same stuff the last sorry group that came in here wore", implying there was a Foundation group that came prior.
- Decides to make things a game, by which, "You'll kill each other until one of you is left. And when one of you dies, you'll have to figure out who killed. So they can die too."
- When Dazai, a nullifier, touches the Vessel part of him starts to melt away.
- The Vessel (on Monday, Week 1) is named Todd, and he died on October 31st, 1999. He is missing his contacts before he died. He also died of thirst and a broken leg. He also mentions that the pain from his death will never go away.
- There was also mention of the fact that the current group is not the first divine creatures to end up in this place.
- There are a few spider-related tidbits mentioned by Todd: "What happens when something steps into the outskirts of a web?" and '"Welcome to my Parlor," Said the Spider to the Fly...' as well as quoting The Spider and the Fly poem by Mary Howitt.
- Regarding the above, when the words re: the poem are recited, Todd seems to have stiffened and his eyes turned entirely purple, as if something or someone else is reciting those words.
- Todd mentions that the curse has been there for decades.
- Regarding the game, Todd seems to look confused when asked why they turned the situation into a game, saying that 'because we wanted to' and 'it seemed like something we should do'.

Information found:

- Monday, week 1: in the staff bedroom, there are notes dated sometime in August 1922; they have a list of tasks to complete for the day, what needs to be stocked up, etc.
- In the trunks, there are plain clothes and maid uniforms from the Edwardian period, along with a copy of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes from the late 1890s with a handmade bookmark inside of it.
- There are a pair of boots that are part of the Foundation's uniform found, which seems to be a US sized 10M.

Link: https://thefoundation.dreamwidth.org/26216.html?thread=23712872#cmt23712872

Information found:

- Monday, week 1: In the dressing room, a Foundation field agent uniform was found; there is a single blood stain on the uniform as well as a hole in the center of the bloodstain.
- Another uniform is found here besides the one stated above, but is mostly clean outside of a coffee stain.

Information found:

- Monday, week 1: in terms of cameras, there are ones in the 'static area' as well as one right outside the door of the bathroom. (There are none in the bathroom proper.)
- In the area that opened up: there are cameras in the ballroom and second dining room, but the wires have been cut. Same goes with the cameras in the hallways.
- Todd was the one who dropped the note on Sunday (week 1); this information was found by looking at the cameras.
- Also Todd can clip through doors. Like a ghost. Spooky.

Information found:
- Monday, week 1: the piano had some sheet music, and playing the song causes the lights to flicker
- Unlike everyone else, Battler (and as a note, for R1 - R4 crew, anyone who has a way to see past curses or see the truth) sees that the city is gone, and the sky is silver. It's stated that after a certain point there's just nothing, and like if there was an earthquake, the rest of the city just fell into that fissure; there's also silver threads and no sun in the sky.
- He also finds the bodies of everyone that was left outside, and they were half-melted.

Information found:

- When Sissel tries to go inside the power core of Olympia's, he seems to get hit by a blast of miasma tinged static

Link: https://thefoundation.dreamwidth.org/26373.html?thread=24741637#cmt24741637

Information found:

- Two contradicting pieces of information: Sissel states that there was a soul in Olympia's power core, while Sho states that there is nothing in there - it's empty - making it questionable why the miasma is in it in the first place.

Information found:
- Upon executing Sho, Todd mentions that the new Vessel has been chosen and that he'll go back to 'us' (the miasma/curse)
- When the ice is removed from the bomb, it surprisingly does not go off until Todd snaps his fingers.

Information found:
- Monday, week 2: Olympia is the new vessel; Sho is a miasma ghost
- Ghosts have laid traps
- The criteria for being chosen as the new Vessel is that it will always be someone who is dead when the decision was made. In this particular case, the decision was made prior to the execution
- When asked "why the thing using [Olympia] as the vessel", she simply answers that it is how things must be done.
- Sho states that 'his suffering is already incorporated into the set'
- Sho is also able to blow himself up, similarly to how he died.
- Olympia also states 'the pain [she] feels is already outside the boundaries of logic'
- When asked 'what exactly being chosen as the vessel do', Olympia answers that '[she] has merged with the curse at an accelerated rate'

Information found:

- Monday, week 2: Rin talks to Sho and he says that 'she cannot see what he sees'
- He compares what he sees to how when "you ever opened your eyes in darkness so black, it's almost lighter to leave your eyes closed" and that it's darker, reaches out for you and what lies in the center of the house is a black hole
- Soon after he says this, tendrils of miasma appear from the ground below him, grabbing him, choking him, and crushing him as he vanishes into the miasma

Information found:

- Tuesday, week 2: A tapping sound was heard from the children's bedroom
- The group finds a person tapping who says 'secure, contain' which is followed by the group with 'protect'.
- He says he's in a secret room and had to hide from a killer robot as they are the last one left
- States that they are Agent T, an A class
- Confirms that hallways and rooms move each week and that they got stuck here on Monday
- States to go arcade first then sauna the following day at 1800
- Also states that the miasma seems to all come from the same place; one room, and to find the room, they'll find the source

Information found:

- Week 2, Wednesday: in the arcade they find several pieces of paper: the liners in the can-can Nickelodeon is slightly ajar and had a note which said PINBALL - 150
- The arcade group clears the task by making the pinball go to 150, and they find another note which seems to be a drawing of a tile pattern and an arrow going up and to the side
- The sauna group finds a bunch of tiling in strange patterns by which they find three matching ones that look exactly like the ones on the paper and hey go up and to the left, which reveals a secret doorway to an internal hallway
- They find another children's room and there's a bunch of chaos and a struggle as well as a dead Agent T
- It is found out that the man was killed Tuesday, week 2, around the time he shortly communicated with the group
- He is then ID'd as Agent Turner, Timothy
- Olympia then shows up and says that his death was 1) a punishment and 2) states that "He should no have said what he did."
- Meanwhile, Sho tells the group looking over the cameras that the walls have eyes and ears.

- Monday, Week 3: Jack is the new Vessel.
- Motive: "Kill someone and get away with it, and we'll free one person of your choice from this group."
- Also rules re: vessels do not apply to ex-vessels
- Jack states that he was the one who decided on the motive

Information found:

- Monday, Week 3: Three books were found in he library: A Long Journey, Encyclopedia Briiannica R-S and Assorted Musings on the Futility of Life.
- The numbers on each cover have 1, 3, and 8 respectively
- All the books have at least 300 pages
- On page 138 of each book, there is a sentence that reads: "TUG RED BOOK ON 3RD LOWER SHELF ON THE RIGHT WALL TWICE"
- When the above is done, the north wall sinks in and slides to the left, revealing a staircase leading downwards.
- The staircase seems to lead what looks like a basement, and when attempting to go in, the group notices the stairs sinking down before slatting flat; a hint of a cobwebbed room with a pit that's 6 feet tall
- They find a diary that has a bunch of papers torn out of it which leaves only blank pages
- The other papers are torn from a book written in hin, spidery looking handwriting and states:

"My previous home fell victim to the floods...it was horrible, but I managed to escape with my life, though I've lost a place to live.

As I am still a young, healthy woman, I am certain that I will be able to recover from this awful loss...but I should find a far better place to live, away from the water.

I will have to travel for some time, but I believe it will be for the best. There should be plenty of food to find where I am going, at the very least."

Next page states:

"I'm finally at my new home, though it took a few days travel and preparation. I am tired, but I've already had a nice meal and settled in as much as I could. MY new home is out of the way, I think - and as I suspected, there's plenty of game to go around here, so I should never truly go hungry.

On my way here, I noticed a particularly handsome man staring at me. Though I hurried away at the time, I certainly wouldn't mind if he came calling in a bit - though perhaps not so soon after settling in. He did look quite fine, though...certainly a man healthy enough to also catch my eyes!

i shall leave it at this for now, and look forward to more peaceful days of living quietly off the lay of the land."

The pages match the tears in the diary.

- Labratory seems to have tarot cards from the early 1900s, ab ook on spiritualism, another book on the occult; they are from the early 1900s
- Drawers seem to have a collection of crystals

Information found:

- Puzzle: there's a box of cigars that has a black club, a red heart is in a space where a bottle used to be. There's a paper inside of the box that reads table and there are a few other objects of interest in the room; a book, deck of playing cards and a smoking jacket; the book is empty and has a black diamond and the jacket pocket seems to have a note that shows:

"HEART-CLUB-SPADE-DIAMOND"

With a little drawing of red and black swapping places.

Under the table is a picture combination lock with revolvable slots; once that's solved, a part of a wall reveals a staircase sliding down.
- When Seteth dies due it seems that he is taken (presumably his soul) by Flayn, the current Vessel.
- Notes

"The handsome man came to visit me today, and made such lovely overtures. I couldn't help but be charmed, and we had a fine time followed up by a delicious meal.

My only regret is that I won't be able to see him again, but what he left behind should surely be memory enough. Now, I will have to hunt for more than just myself."

"It has been a while, but life has continued on. I'm expecting, and I've stocked more than enough food and necessities for my children once they arrive. They are all safe, and now, all I must do is wait.

I am so happy..."

The third note, however, seems to be entirely black and covered with "written screaming, 'no', and 'I hate you' under frantic, furious scribbling." and on the back is a single, shaky sentence with what looks like blood staining the page:

"I won't forgive this."

- Questions asked:
    1. SCP-related reports in the California area in 1922.
    2. Files of those who frequently worked with A-R Agent Timmy Turner that had been decommissioned circa 20 years ago, as well as his personnel file. We're looking for an Erin in specific and who his supervisor was at the time.
3.Please elucidate on the timeline, as the notes we found in the dossiers imply Tages might have gone in after this group. There are other points of interest that we would like to question you on.

- Answers:
    1) None of the SCPs have anything to do with the Winchester Mansion; Hayes is loosely tied to the Winchester mansion
    2) Erin was his spouse, who died in an unrelated mission in 2015; Agent T's squad perished in the Winchester house before the round 5 group, their last point of reference being back in March 2000.
    3) As answered by Friskgore, they state that "Tages definitely went missing long before the Winchester Incident. The last time I saw him in person was actually on New Year's Eve, so he could have gone missing any time after that."

- Tages is noted that he was always smiling but the smile never reached his eyes and that Friskgore wished for his genuine happiness; Friskgore also says that as well.
