Cynthia wakes up in her room on Monday morning, with a Staff member handing her an envelope. When she opens it, Cynthia will find a letter announcing that she's the Ruler...

OOC INFO

- The Ruler is a Town aligned role that has two votes during trials. The Ruler may give one of their votes to another player of their choosing. However, this must be done by Tuesday at the very latest.

- The Ruler has a 50/50 chance of coming up as a mafia member when the Seeker uses their role on them.

- The Ruler wins if all the mafia are killed, and if they survive the IC mafia game.

TIPS

As the Ruler, you have a major card to play with your double votes - however, all great powers have a drawback, and you'll need to figure out who the Seeker is and prove to them you're not Mafia if you don't want to be potentially suspected!

[The Staff member smiles again, Eyes going blank for a moment before they shake their head slightly.]

Ah - is there anything else you would like to know about your new role?

Um, okay. This... role... is supposed to be secret, right? Do I get disqualified if I tell anyone? Though, I guess I kinda have to if I wanna use my secret power, huh...

You may tell anyone about your role! And no, you don't have to tell anyone to use your power. If you would like to give it to another player, all you have to do is privately talk to one of us, and we will note it down.

[The Staff nods.]

Though, we would recommend staying quiet. a double vote during a trial is quite a powerful gift...but one others might take you out for during the game itself.

Though I’m definitely not actually killing anyone in real life. I’m just gonna poke ‘em like “You’re already dead” and they get time out.

[After the execution, Cynthia is going to return to her room, stare at the wall for a while, and then immediately calls the staff to her room.]

Um... h-hey... You said I could give my extra vote to anyone I wanted, right? I... think I'm gonna give it to Gerome. That's okay, right?

[She feels a pang of guilt that she's not giving it to her cousin and BFF, but like... Gerome basically confirmed he very probably wasn't a spider, so...???]
