Shadow comes from after the events of Sonic Forces -- he's been with the Foundation for about three months and proven himself to be a useful agent. He doesn't consume a ton of media, so fourth walling will probably be on a case by case basis. He reads a lot of classic literature and poetry??? He's also familiar with his own canon -- the games anyway. He hasn't actually played them but he did a wiki dive. ALSO for your viewing pleasure; a slightly more realistically proportioned shedo. His rightmost outfit is what he's coming in with.
