Dreamland (round 3)

[A strange house of some sort sits in the pitch black nothingness that exists around it. For those just now wandering in, they will be drawn to the building, finding it lit up in a way that it should not be. It's as if the whole area- house, yard, fence, and giant sakura tree- all give off their own light, and the newly-arrived are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

Inside the boundary of the yard, the familiar faces of those who have passed on already will greet them. Depending on who is asked, they might give an accurate explanation. But even if they don't, one thing is clear: you don't want to leave this place. The area outside feels Dangerous, and it is probably best to stay put.

Fortunately, the house is built in an old style, and there are many rooms to explore. One room on the second floor seems locked, but the rest are open to explore as desired. The standard rooms are easy to find: kitchen, a W.C. and a bathroom, a sitting room of some sort, and a couple bedrooms (with plenty of futons for the dead to use). There are also several tatami mat rooms with nothing in them currently, but it seems like there might be some use for those rooms.

Around the house, perches for birds can be found. No birds are on them currently, though.

Sometimes Watanuki can be found in the house, but most of the time the dead will be left to their own devices. The question is, what will they do here?]

[After what seemed to be a minor panic attack earlier, Holmes can be found walking around, pausing every once in a while to shift, and transform his clothing - occasionally it's a sleek black suit like he wore at the Foundation, other times it's more exotic clothes before returning to the Hoari and Yukata combo. Whether it's a pipe or cigarette, he carried the scent of a cozy library with him. The look on his face does say he seem to be trying to keep himself mentally busy.

Once he's calmed down much further, he goes to seek Karen out, because there's something he needed to say - not through a vessel, not in private, but in the open and face to face]

[Karen isn't exactly trying to make herself easy to find, but she's never been great at hiding, so it won't be too long before she turns up in one of the bedrooms, lying down and staring vacantly at the ceiling/watching Vinea talk to Gebura about stuff.]

[When she realizes someone else is coming in, she glances toward the door, then suddenly sits up.]

Oh--Ruler-san, I--I'm sorry for not being there to greet you.

It's fine. I was not in the greatest condition to speak to people, Miss Minazuki. And I figure you wouldn't want to speak to an absolute fool.

I went with an incomplete theory, and focused on the wrong things. Even if I did the best I could, you still suffered unfairly.

I looked suspicious because of my own actions, and there was nothing to point to anyone else. Even I still don't know who the real killer was.

She probably would have, eventually, but after she started gloating about cooperating with her killer I decided I didn't really want to know after all.
