Dreamland (round 3)

[A strange house of some sort sits in the pitch black nothingness that exists around it. For those just now wandering in, they will be drawn to the building, finding it lit up in a way that it should not be. It's as if the whole area- house, yard, fence, and giant sakura tree- all give off their own light, and the newly-arrived are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

Inside the boundary of the yard, the familiar faces of those who have passed on already will greet them. Depending on who is asked, they might give an accurate explanation. But even if they don't, one thing is clear: you don't want to leave this place. The area outside feels Dangerous, and it is probably best to stay put.

Fortunately, the house is built in an old style, and there are many rooms to explore. One room on the second floor seems locked, but the rest are open to explore as desired. The standard rooms are easy to find: kitchen, a W.C. and a bathroom, a sitting room of some sort, and a couple bedrooms (with plenty of futons for the dead to use). There are also several tatami mat rooms with nothing in them currently, but it seems like there might be some use for those rooms.

Around the house, perches for birds can be found. No birds are on them currently, though.

Sometimes Watanuki can be found in the house, but most of the time the dead will be left to their own devices. The question is, what will they do here?]

[He is scratching at his head and sitting up properly now, though.]

It's fine, I asked him to wait until he was back at the Foundation to spit him out. Or...when I'm dropping off those who want to go back, I guess.

It takes his brain about three seconds to catch up with his body, but when it finally does Watanuki is screaming in terror and attempting to yeet Anon across the yard.]

Again?!

[Rude?? Noodle we have got to stop meeting like this.

At least this time he remembers he’s at least part-shinigami, so Anon catches himself easily midair and then just — sits there. Seems wiser to maintain a little distance until Watanuki’s done with his tantrum or whatever.]

Wow. Did I ever ask you how exactly you know this guy?

[Now that he's actually awake enough to remember Anon's particular skill set, he is glaring at him. And he snaps at Anon when he talks. ]

No, you didn't! Now put your face back the way it should be!

If I do, will you tell me all about him?

[Anon has not put his face back yet, nor has he come down from the air, nor does he seem cowed by Watanuki's glaring. We've been through this! He's waiting expectantly.]

[GLARE GLARE but he knows how Anon is, so. ]

Fine. Just go back to how you're supposed to look.

[Bloop blorp his face just sort of blobs back into place and now it's all pink gremlin all the time again. :D He's still sitting in midair, though, shuffling just a li'l closer to listen. He doesn't need to wear someone to use their shit, after all.]

There. So, what's up with you and Ichigo?

[It's fine, he can turn Anon's powers off if need be, so he lets Anon do the floaty thing for now. He'll just cross his arms in front of himself and begin to explain. ]

Once upon a time I was at the Foundation scouting out people for this game, and he saw me and yelled at me and chased me away.

[Wow, he literally is doing nothing wrong right now, rude meta. Well, okay, he was doing nothing wrong, but he’s just already laughing before Watanuki’s even finished his sentence because the visual is too good??]

Hahaha, Ichigo can totally be scary if he puts his mind to it, unlike you. I can’t believe he actually chased out a Witch like a mouse with a broom, though.

He was terrifying! Shouting about how I has no right, and how I better give up and turn myself in! Like hell am I submitting to any of those death-people! Knowing my luck they would start my time up again!
