Dreamland (round 3)

[A strange house of some sort sits in the pitch black nothingness that exists around it. For those just now wandering in, they will be drawn to the building, finding it lit up in a way that it should not be. It's as if the whole area- house, yard, fence, and giant sakura tree- all give off their own light, and the newly-arrived are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

Inside the boundary of the yard, the familiar faces of those who have passed on already will greet them. Depending on who is asked, they might give an accurate explanation. But even if they don't, one thing is clear: you don't want to leave this place. The area outside feels Dangerous, and it is probably best to stay put.

Fortunately, the house is built in an old style, and there are many rooms to explore. One room on the second floor seems locked, but the rest are open to explore as desired. The standard rooms are easy to find: kitchen, a W.C. and a bathroom, a sitting room of some sort, and a couple bedrooms (with plenty of futons for the dead to use). There are also several tatami mat rooms with nothing in them currently, but it seems like there might be some use for those rooms.

Around the house, perches for birds can be found. No birds are on them currently, though.

Sometimes Watanuki can be found in the house, but most of the time the dead will be left to their own devices. The question is, what will they do here?]

[Once the investigation winds down, he stands up and moves away from the group, smoking on his pipe - giving the smell of a cozy fireplace library rather than tobacco - the wafuku shifting into the Inverness coat that marked his appearance at trials, his expression drawn and contemplative]

[Shadow has calmed down a lot too, though he is still sad, and his face fur is stained with dried tears.

He stands by Sherlock for a long moment, holding a cup of sake, but not drinking it. Then, he finally does speak]

... I had no idea Clear was an android. He was incredibly well-made.

I knew there was something odd about him - he had asked me the specifics of what it was like being a Servant. I figured he wasn't human, but I hadn't gotten to observe him enough to see the full truth.

[His voice was quiet]

Likely the killer did it because they did not care for him, but Clear was as innocent as Sora.

He was quiet, reserved. But I can see now how his logic was like a robot, one with learning AI...

[It reminded him of Omega, in some ways. Though without all of Omega's... uh. Extra. Attitude.

But the same sort of simple-mindedness. Not in a bad way -- just a pure way]

It explains why he always smelled so clean -- yet I never got a whiff of motor oil. Very well constructed... [Eggman would love to pick him apart.

Shadow frowns, looking down]

Indeed... innocent, but he hadn't exactly made strong bonds with anyone. A good target.
