Dreamland (round 3)

[A strange house of some sort sits in the pitch black nothingness that exists around it. For those just now wandering in, they will be drawn to the building, finding it lit up in a way that it should not be. It's as if the whole area- house, yard, fence, and giant sakura tree- all give off their own light, and the newly-arrived are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

Inside the boundary of the yard, the familiar faces of those who have passed on already will greet them. Depending on who is asked, they might give an accurate explanation. But even if they don't, one thing is clear: you don't want to leave this place. The area outside feels Dangerous, and it is probably best to stay put.

Fortunately, the house is built in an old style, and there are many rooms to explore. One room on the second floor seems locked, but the rest are open to explore as desired. The standard rooms are easy to find: kitchen, a W.C. and a bathroom, a sitting room of some sort, and a couple bedrooms (with plenty of futons for the dead to use). There are also several tatami mat rooms with nothing in them currently, but it seems like there might be some use for those rooms.

Around the house, perches for birds can be found. No birds are on them currently, though.

Sometimes Watanuki can be found in the house, but most of the time the dead will be left to their own devices. The question is, what will they do here?

Nirrti is a disaster but honestly that's true of most of us. A lot did happen, yes...

[Kurama looks at Anon with quiet consideration but doesn't poke that dissatisfaction. For now.

The rest gets a light snort from him.]

That hardly comes as a shock. Since apparently you're a dog person, which is very disappointing to me, Anon, I thought better of you.

I'm pretty sure that's just how Witches work. Watanuki is just sneakier about it.

[The frown melts into a cocky grin when Kurama brings up the rest, though.]

I didn't think I was a dog person either, but I totally blame the weird servant me. Usually, dogs and cats and everything else run away from me, so it's not like I had a choice!

Watanuki is hardly sneaky about being a disaster. He's just a largely self-directed disaster that sometimes tries to pretend he's classy and mysterious.

[As for the rest, Kurama just shakes his head in exaggerated dismay.]

You insulted my cat, Anon.

Ah, but at least he doesn't start doing the whole I'm the Wiiiiiitch of Dimensiooons thing! It's not hard to be sneakier than Nirrti.

[Yeah, he grabbed Nirrti's intonation and all the stretched vowels there and everything?? He even totally posed. There's a laugh as he falls back out of character.]

I'm pretty sure I gave your cat a compliment.

[Zero repentance life.]

...alright, that's fair.

[Low bar to clear officially acknowledged. Kurama shrugs slightly with an amused smile at Anon's playacting.]

I'm very sure you didn't.

[It's not like Kurama expects any repentance here, let's be real.]

It was totally a compliment, because the quality of my dogs is so high that the quality of your cat had to be high to even compare!

[He's definitely not completely serious about this, but apparently it's still going to be a thing. Deal with it, Kurama!!]
