Dreamland (round 3)
[A strange house of some sort sits in the pitch black nothingness that exists around it. For those just now wandering in, they will be drawn to the building, finding it lit up in a way that it should not be. It's as if the whole area- house, yard, fence, and giant sakura tree- all give off their own light, and the newly-arrived are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.
Inside the boundary of the yard, the familiar faces of those who have passed on already will greet them. Depending on who is asked, they might give an accurate explanation. But even if they don't, one thing is clear: you don't want to leave this place. The area outside feels Dangerous, and it is probably best to stay put.
Fortunately, the house is built in an old style, and there are many rooms to explore. One room on the second floor seems locked, but the rest are open to explore as desired. The standard rooms are easy to find: kitchen, a W.C. and a bathroom, a sitting room of some sort, and a couple bedrooms (with plenty of futons for the dead to use). There are also several tatami mat rooms with nothing in them currently, but it seems like there might be some use for those rooms.
Around the house, perches for birds can be found. No birds are on them currently, though.
Sometimes Watanuki can be found in the house, but most of the time the dead will be left to their own devices. The question is, what will they do here?]

[Kurama settles next to Shadow and drinks his sake. He frowns faintly, staring up at the tree.]

Maybe they don't care about nonexistence. Nirrti... well. She probably made it so they only care about her.

I came out here last night and watched the fish for a while. Then I realized I didn't want to see a repeat of Monday, when that thing using my body was talking to Sherlock.

[Kurama makes a very pained face and finishes off his sake in one shot when Erhard mentions his own demon. He is far more aware then he ever wanted to be of Erhard's demon.]
I apologize both retroactively and in advance for Shass, on the subject of things seen.

[Shadow gives Erhard a small wave as he joins them]
I don't envy you both having to deal with the influx of their memories. ... I think Holmes got the worst of it, in that case.
no subject
[Will he have the urge to make an ass of himself with Buer's memories? He's grateful Sherlock knows that's not really him, but it's still embarrassing.]
You don't have to apologize, Kurama. It's not your fault. They're... maybe it's Nirrti's warped way of trying to make up for us missing the people we care about.
no subject
And no, I'm not looking forward to it, either.
[Kurama pours himself more sake. It's not just the content of the memories that makes him not want them. He already has to juggle who he was, who he is, and who he pretends to be. Kurama isn't eager to throw an alter ego created by Nirrti into that mix.]
Perhaps. Or she may feel the only way she can have love is by creating it herself.

[MORE SAKE. Good thing this is like a bottomless dream sake bottle. Shadow sips and fidgets with one of his inhibitor rings]
I admit I still do not understand that woman. But if she's able to make these constructs that care about her, then she must think, somewhere, deep down, that she is worthy of love and redemption... right?
no subject
[Yeah, he might be too unstable for the task set before the living, but he still empathizes with Nirrti.
He finally picks up a sake cup and fills it, taking tiny sips.]
Nirrti has support if she accepts it, though.
