Locations (round 5)

The 'Static Area' is named as such because it is the only part of the mansion that does not change week-to-week. Because of this, all characters must be within the static area of the mansion on Sunday night, or else they may become lost in the house forever. Do not take this warning lightly! Be responsible and sleep in your rooms!
This is the main entryway to the house itself. There is a coat rack, a place for storing walking canes and umbrellas, and even a little area for outside shoes. The most important feature here, however, is the front door. This seems to be the only entrance and exit to the mansion.
This room is full of stylish couches and chairs right out of the early 1900s. While the furniture and plush carpets might be dated, they're still comfortable. Interestingly enough, there seems to be enough seating for about two-dozen people, and thus it serves as the perfect meeting area for guests.
There is also a large grandfather clock in here, one that chimes every quarter-hour.
These bedrooms are rather sparse, considering the luxury of the rest of the Mansion. It seems like the Foundation has changed this space to suit functionality rather than comfort. Each room contains two sets of bunk-beds, a single table and chair, and a single dresser with four drawers in it. It's not much, but it will have to do.
Characters are assigned beds at the start of the game. If they try to sleep in a bed that is assigned to someone else, they will wake up in their own bed in the morning. There is no sign of how that happens. Maybe the ghosts do it?
Bed assignments can be found here.
This room is full of linens and bedspreads, so your characters can change their bedding as needed. There are also several wash buckets and hand-crank wringers, so everyone can wash their clothes by hand. Soap and bleach can be found in here as well. Clothes will need to be hung up to dry, so plan your laundry days accordingly.
This room has a large incinerator in it, for burning up any trash that might accumulate.
This bathroom is a bit lacking, honestly. It has three single-stall toilets and one shower stall, all for 28 people to share. You may want to work out showering shifts too, as the hot water only lasts for 10 minutes at a time.
The most important room to any Agent! This contains all the extra weapons, ammo, and gadgetry you might possibly need. Spare cameras and electrical equipment can also be found in here. There is also a small setup of a couple computer monitors, which display live feeds to several of the cameras set up throughout the house.
The long, narrow table in here can seat 30 people at a time comfortably. Anybody up for some dinner? It also is directly connected to the kitchen.
As of the end of week 2, there is now a pool table in the dining room.
This room seems to be the most up-to-date, sporting a modern refrigerator and ice box. Several other small appliances can be found. As for ingredients, well...you're pretty much left with the rations you brought in. At least you have plenty of water?
Three heavy wooden doors can be found, spread throughout the Static Area. Currently they are locked. Where do they go? You'll have to wait to find out...

WEEK 1
This week, the doors to the West and the North are unlocked. The door to the East remains locked.
Powder Room
This room is full of the kinds of makeup you would expect from the 1920s. Eyeliner, powder, eye shadow, you name it! It's a bit dated though, and given the fact that some of them are labeled as containing radium, you might not want to wear any of them. Besides all the makeup, there is also makeup removal creams and plenty of soaps for washing your face. Interestingly, despite being clearly from the 1900s-1920s, none of the makeup or soap seems expired.
There are also several vanities, small compact mirrors, and chairs to sit in while dolling yourself up. This room is also well-lit with a variety of early-1920s lightbulbs and fixtures.
Storage
If you need a mop or a broom, this is the place for you! This closet is full of era-appropriate cleaning supplies (including bleach and Ivory soap!) that are free to use. Nothing is expired, but be sure to read the ingredient labels of some of these products. Victorian-era cleaning was no joke.
Dressing Room
If you're tired of the Foundation uniforms and want to change things up, this is the room for you! This room contains both a 'men's' and 'women's' section, and each are full of clothes you could find from the 1880s all the way through the 1920s. There are also three changing booths with curtains and a set of mirrors, so you can try on your new clothes before you buy them! Or...steal them, I guess.
There is also a section containing hats, scarves, jewelry, and other accessories, also from the 1880s to the 1920s style-wise. The clothes look dated, but smell relatively clean.
Dining room
Another one? Well, this one looks much nicer. There's a set of chandeliers hanging down over the large table, which has enough spots to seat 30 people. There are also two smaller tables off to the side with high-chairs and smaller seats, clearly meant for the children to eat at. Ornate china and sparkling silver has been set at all the places, almost like they were expecting guests. It's just too bad there's no fancy food to eat in this fancy room.
Ballroom
This large, open room contains a smooth wooden floor and is mostly bare of furniture, with only some chairs pushed up against the walls for people to sit in. A grand chandelier hangs down in the center, illuminating the room with electric lights that make the crystals sparkle. Near the entrance is a stack of dance cards and little pencils for use.
A grand piano sits off to the side as well. It's dusty, but looks otherwise in good condition.
Balcony
Accessible from a staircase in the hall, this balcony overlooks the ballroom. Some chairs can be found up here as well. This is the perfect spot for quiet conversations while also participating in the seasonal festivities!
Staff Bedroom
This room is actually pretty similar to the rooms all of you are currently staying in. Three sets of bunk beds, one desk, one chair. The difference here is that there are small chests at the foot of each bed, meant for each staff member's personal effects. This room is also the only room this week with a window to the outside, but all you see is the same dark forest as before.
If you sleep in these beds, you will not be transported back to your own bed overnight. However, the limit is one person per bed (plus a cat, if Sissel wants to share). If two or more try to sleep in one bed, both will go back to their assigned beds.
Toolshed
This is...a toolshed! Wow, why is that inside? Regardless, you can find all sorts of tools here. Screwdrivers, saws, wrenches, you name it. No power tools, but you can make due with human power, right?
Week 2
This week, only the door to the North opens up, revealing a maze of hallways that are oddly wide and contain several false doors that go nowhere. The hallways make what amounts to a large oval around the greenhouse, with an extra hallway sticking off going to the south that ends in a dead end.
Boiler Room
This room is where the Powder Room was last week. Strange...
Within the room is a large water boiler, easily big enough to heat up water for the whole house. Pipes extend out of it, heading off into the many corners of the house. There is also a small toolbox in this room. All of the walls and floor are slightly damp.
Sauna
Slightly north of the North door, the sauna is a triangular room with several benches arranged around a central fire stove. The bottom of the fire stove opens up to accept fuel (in this case, charcoal), and the top is a shallow dish of rocks which heat up and let off steam when water is poured on them. Very refreshing!
Dressing Room
Look what's back! It's now directly across from the Sauna, but the inside of the room seems to be exactly as it was left last week.
Arcade
Those of you from modern day might not consider this an arcade, but this was the height of entertainment back at the turn of the 20th century! The large room contains several forms of entertainment: a couple pool tables, some card tables, even a few of those old, mechanical pinball machines that didn't require electricity to run. That isn't to say that there is no power at all in here, though.
Along one wall is a series of short arcade stands that have a variety of advertisements on them. "Images of the Great War", "Dancing with Diana", and even one labeled simply as "Ballet" can be found here. When a nickel is inserted into the coin slot, each machine will start to play a short video (about 1 minute in length). Most are as advertised, but watch out for the more risque ones! You don't want to get caught watching a can-can line.
Greenhouse
This large greenhouse takes up the entirety of the central area of this week's map. While there are only two entrances, the hallways surrounding the greenhouse are actually glass windows, allowing people to look in and see what the greenhouse has to offer. And despite the normally-dark vision coming from the front door to the house, the opaque glass roof of the greenhouse allows sunlight to stream right in.
Several planter boxes full of dirt can be found here, as well as all of the supplies you would need for gardening. What's missing? Well...any actual plants, for one. There's plenty of seeds to grow, even seeds for food! But they have not been planted yet. Hopefully someone has a green thumb.
Scullery
Back in the old times, clothes washing was quite the chore. Not only was soap and water involved, but you actually had to boil your clothes to kill insects and pests.
That is what the scullery is for. The room has several large vats, each vat as big as a tub, placed over giant racks used to hold said vats over a fire. Chopped wood lines one of the walls, stacked up on shelves, ready to be placed under the vats and lit up. There are also large stirring poles and even a water spigot and hose to fill up the vats with. Careful, it can get hot in here!
Children's Bedroom
This room seems to have belonged to a pair of girls at some point. The two beds are adorned with pink blankets and bright drapings, making them seem like the beds of princesses. A large wooden dollhouse is in one corner, and several dolls and stuffed animals can be found in another. There is also a bookshelf full of children's books, perfect for bedtime stories!
Week 3
Doors to the North and East are open, revealing a winding set of hallways that twist and turn in a figure-8 design. The decor continues to be the same as in past weeks, with paintings and potted plants here and there, but things seem to be dusty and less-used. The longer you stay, the deeper into the house you seem to go.
Bathroom
A second bathroom has finally appeared! Don't get too excited though, this bathroom contains just one toilet, one sink and mirror, and one claw-footed bathtub. It's fancy, but not practical for large groups.
Guest Bedroom
This room contains a single queen-size bed, a dresser, and a desk with a chair. It is decorated nicely, but it seems to lack individual personality. This bedroom was meant for visiting guests to stay in, hence the decor.
Renovation area
With all the construction going on, it only made sense to have a room to store all the materials and tools in. This room contains plenty of lumber, nails, screws, wood glue, tiles, carpeting, what have you. If you would use it in construction, it can be found here. There's even some early power tools, like a drill and an electric saw, though they are not particularly safe-looking. Please be careful while using them.
'Locked' Room
This room isn't actually locked, you can enter it quite easily. But the inside is...something. There's what looks to be a small jail cell in the back, and along one of the walls is a series of handcuffs attached to chains. It's like there's a dungeon in the house, and not the fun kind of dungeon!
Library
Easily the biggest room this week, the library contains more books than you could ever hope to read in your life. Every wall is lined with books, and there are even a few extra shelves set out on the floor too. Scattered around the room is a few desks with lamps, so you can read quietly without even leaving the library. There seems to be a large section on books about the occult, but you can also find books on geography, math, history, what have you. All books have a publication date of 1922 or earlier.
Pantry
Oh look, food! That must be a big relief, considering how low supplies are dwindling. And there seems to be a good amount left in there too, at least enough for two more weeks with the current numbers. But with things like pork brains, Christmas dinner layered in a can, and canned silkworms, you might find yourself skipping on any feast.
Trophy Room
A hunter's paradise, this room is full of stuffed and mounted animals. Several deer heads (and even a moose head!) hang on the walls, there's a bearskin rug on the floor, several smaller game animals are scattered around the room, and even a stuffed grizzly bear stands in the corner near the fireplace. The room might seem a little unsettling if you're not used to such things, but it is quite cozy!
WEEK 4
This week, only the door to the East is open. The hallway once again takes on a weird shape, curling around on itself like a '9'.
Ice Room
This room is just a bare metal room with several ice blocks stacked up in it. Back in the day, this was used to cool foods and keep things frozen. What could the ice be hiding this week?
Laboratory
This is more of a mechanical lab than a chemical one, honestly. It looks like something straight out of a 1920s sci-fi/horror flick. Several tools and metal bits can be found here, and cutting edge technology (well, cutting edge for the 1920s) can be found in here. If you want to fix up a vacuum or make a tesla coil, this is the place for you! Please wear the protective lab coats while you work.
Ballroom
Oh hey, this room is back! And it looks as clean as it did the first time it was here. The balcony is gone though, and it seems like some other things might have changed too.
Smoking Lounge
This room is a must-have for hosting gentlemanly guests. There's several plush chairs, and a couple tables for playing cards or doing any backroom deals. There is also a liquor cabinet with several bottles of booze, some cigarettes, and even a box of cigars. It seems like some of the alcohol is missing, though. How odd.
Storage closet
Labeled as 'A' on the map, this is the same cleaning closet as was in the house in week 1. At least cleaning up messes will be easy, right?
Showers
The house continues to bless all of you with places for bathing, it seems. The shower room resembles the changing room of a gym or pool. Five shower heads line one wall, in a tile section that is set off from the rest. The other side of the room has a bench and several small lockers for storing goods while you change. Just be careful going in, there's only one room and it's not gender-divided.
no subject
Have fun hoofing it around the big ring of hallways this week, everyone! Both West and East doors are open, and several rooms can be found along the large circle that the hallways make around the house.
Dressing Room
This place again? Well, at least you all can be fancy while you suffer from the miasma.
Wine Room
This probably should be in a basement, but somehow this room has blocked out all light sources anyway, protecting all of the racks and racks of fine wine.
As of right now, the wine room is locked. You'll need to find a way in.
Conservatory
A room made of glass? In the middle of the house? Huh! Somehow, despite its placing, anyone who goes inside can see greenery outside those windows instead of walls. The room itself contains several potted plants, a small table with a chessboard on it, and two chairs. It would almost be nice, if not for the whole 'ominous forest' thing.
Backroom
This room is an oddly-shaped one, long and narrow, leading to a locked door. Inside the room is several bags of mail and a couple boxes containing various things that were likely delivered to the house just before the miasma took over.
There is also a landline phone hanging on the wall.
Master Bedroom
This looks fit for a king! The large room contains a huge four-poster bed, a dresser and wardrobe, and even a couple couches around a coffee table. This must have been Mrs. Winchester's room, when she was alive. Everything seems very fancy and top-of-the-line.
Master Bathroom
Much like the master bedroom, this bathroom is lavish and lovely. It has no shower, but the big claw-foot tub and shelf of fancy soaps is an indication of just who used this room.
Pool
A pool in the house? Really? Well, it's a small one at least. Ten feet wide by fifty feet long and four feet deep, just large enough for a little bit of swimming. The pool might smell strongly of chemicals, though. The way they treated pool water back then was a bit different than modern day chlorine. The water is clean, but you don't want to drink any of it.
Office
This appears to be someone's home office. It's got a desk covered in papers and letters, and the drawers contain writing utensils and old mail. The chair is well-worn, like whoever worked there spent many hours in it. There is also a shelf of books, but they all seem related to business.
Tool Shed
Oh, this place is back again too. It's been cleaned out, but nothing else seems to have changed.
Week 6
All three doors from the static area to the halls are open.
The hallways are all winding, revealing several dozen doors.
None of the doors open, no matter what you do to them.
Will you walk into my parlor?
