Dreamland (round 3)

[A strange house of some sort sits in the pitch black nothingness that exists around it. For those just now wandering in, they will be drawn to the building, finding it lit up in a way that it should not be. It's as if the whole area- house, yard, fence, and giant sakura tree- all give off their own light, and the newly-arrived are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

Inside the boundary of the yard, the familiar faces of those who have passed on already will greet them. Depending on who is asked, they might give an accurate explanation. But even if they don't, one thing is clear: you don't want to leave this place. The area outside feels Dangerous, and it is probably best to stay put.

Fortunately, the house is built in an old style, and there are many rooms to explore. One room on the second floor seems locked, but the rest are open to explore as desired. The standard rooms are easy to find: kitchen, a W.C. and a bathroom, a sitting room of some sort, and a couple bedrooms (with plenty of futons for the dead to use). There are also several tatami mat rooms with nothing in them currently, but it seems like there might be some use for those rooms.

Around the house, perches for birds can be found. No birds are on them currently, though.

Sometimes Watanuki can be found in the house, but most of the time the dead will be left to their own devices. The question is, what will they do here?]

Well, maybe not necessarily save the world. . . but I think that you can use this reminder to do what you can. Even if it's something small.

['John' Is going to go ahead and leave the shop then. It's hard to know exactly what will happen in the future, but as he leaves everyone will feel like they managed to help in some way.]

Well, it's important to be careful, right? We don't really know who that guy was, especially since he was hiding his name, but it seems like he was talking about our situation for some of it.

I'm positive he was from the Foundation.

That was my impression, too. Most of ours, I suspect.

Which means... those of us from 6350 may be in some real trouble. [Shadow frowns] If it's not one thing, it's another.

In trouble. . .? Is there any possible reason for that? He mentioned that the problem was because of something in regards to murders and accidents, right?

I wouldn't be surprised if some of us had refused to cooperate, and that had led to violence.

I'm not sure that the 6350 division has had any more casualties than any other branch of the Foundation, but... as we've learned these past few weeks, actual guilt doesn't matter. If higher ups in the Foundation think that eliminating offworlders will help in some way, they'll do it without hesitation.

We are. Not only are we not from their world, we're "fictional" to them. Additionally, as long as a Shinigami or Necromancer is available, our souls can be recycled into new bodies indefinitely.
