Round 4 AU Workshop

In Round 4, all characters will be veteran Agents. That means they have been Agents for at least 6 months, and up to 2 years. This post can be used for sorting out that AU history.

Arrival at the Foundation

Arrival at the Foundation will generally follow this pattern:

1: Your character won't remember exactly how they were removed from their world. As far as they know, their memories just 'cut off' abruptly at whatever canon point you choose for them. They will have the feeling that there is a gap in there somewhere, but they won't be aware of how long it is or what happened during that time. Their first memory after this gap will always be the same: waking up naked in a cold room with a large, strange machine nearby. Regardless of what they were wearing before, they will now be wearing an orange jumpsuit.

2: Shortly after awakening, they will be taken from the room with the strange machine and brought to what looks like an interrogation room. In there, they will have their intake interview. The interview will vary based on how your character responds to being questioned, but in the end they will either agree to be an agent or end up being subdued and locked away in a cell until they agree to cooperate. Here are some examples of the intake interview: (1), (2), (3).

3: After the intake interview, characters will be taken away for training. This will vary based on what your character already knows, but by the end of it they will be proficient in the following: technology use (on par with 2019, as well as the use of Foundation-specific tech), reading and writing (in English, which all characters are suddenly able to speak), firearm use, containment protocol basics, and testing/training in using their powers. This process could last as little as a couple days (long enough to test out of all the training) to a few months (for people who know none of that and need to learn everything).

4: After their training is done, characters will start being assigned on missions. Characters will generally be assigned to tasks that fit their talents, but you can expect any mission they are sent on as D-class agents to be very dangerous. Casualties will be common.


Rankings

If a character survives being a D-class agent for long enough, they have the potential to become a C-class agent. C-class agents are generally given better assignments (to Safe SCPs with well-known containment protocols), and often are expected to be the 'leader' for groups of D-class agents.

For this round, your character can potentially be a C-class agent if they meet the following qualifications:

1: They have been at the Foundation for longer than 6 months.

2: They have been generally cooperative with the Foundation.

3: They have a particularly useful skill (mundane or otherwise) or a useful power.

If they don't fit those requirements, go with D-class to be on the safe side.


AU personality

Depending on the length of time they have been at the Foundation, a character's personality may be somewhat different from how they are in canon. This is to be expected, given the kind of work the Foundation does. However, characters should still be recognizable as themselves, and all changes in personality need to be explained on your app.

Any AU history or personality changes that are not listed on your app will not be considered canon for this game!


TL;DR -

- Characters will be agents of the Foundation.
- They can be there for anywhere from 'six months' to 'two years'.
- You must write up a summary of their AU history.
- You must also explain how this AU history has affected their personality.
- Time matters! Someone who only did the intake interview will be pretty much the same as they are in canon. Someone who has been with the Foundation for a few months will have Seen Some Shit, and their personality will probably have changed a bit.


As a final note, you must seek permission from other players before you may use their character in your character's AU history! If you want to have your character trained by Atsushi, for example, then you must ask Atsushi's player for permission, and we will seek confirmation from that player. Apps that fail this step will be automatically rejected!

Bani-

Vanitas from Round 2! He was in the Hotel California round. For those not aware, he got the 'Bani' nickname from a combination of Cinque and Yoshi being themselves.

He still pops into the Sites (and into chat) on occasion, but he very heavily makes a point of avoiding the hell out of the Other Vanitas, unless he's in the mood for a fight. Sometimes he's just in the mood for a fucking fight???? And TBH, he'd really wanna do whatever he could to just get the Agent Vanitas in trouble, cries... why is he this way...

It's kind of sad, honestly, how Night and Day it is; he's perfectly chill with the friends he made, and then all this anger and hate comes pouring out whenever seen around the other Vani.

Bani is most seen around Roxas, Yoshi, and/or Cinque (there are more people, but no way am I sitting and listing all, cries)!

Aki-

From the last round! He chose the nickname Aki to separate himself from the Akira Kurusu of Round 2 (+ the million other Akiren).

He's been doing what he can to interact with people, these days... He wants to make friends, and he's been doing a lot better, now that he's taking some time to recover from Murder.

He's likely seen most frequently with Kurama (boyfriend) and/or Erhard (teacher). Same as above, there are more, but I ain't listing all.

Pan's Lot

Nine- A year ago, Nine was shipped off to Camp Petoskey to be a sacrifice for the SCP there. Afterwards, he came back to the Foundation to work as an agent with the others survivors. He will help others if he can, but the mission/orders comes first (unless someone from Camp is there). He's kind of dumb and reactionary, might ask what the hell. He's friendly enough and will respond well to others. He's located in Site 1, up in Michigan.

He mostly has kept his head down and took on missions to try to get promoted, but wound up taking part of a minor rebellion to keep his boyfriend safe.

Cinque- She was an agent when she was sent to the Resort in Canada. She came back with a Doppelganger and spent quality time in the lab. She still has to report back to the labs, but she counts as contained once again. During her off time, she heads back to Site 2 to hang out.

She's friendly and doesn't like being alone \o/ She was on missions prior to the Resort if anyone wants to know here there. She used to be brought in as one of the big guns to take down large SCPs.

Sora- has been an agent for eight months now! He went missing one day, and came back in Site 2 with a bunch of others. He was part of the rebellion that attack Mayuri.

Sora has been on a lot of missions, he's friendly, and will do his best to save everyone.

My R3 Kurama here was actually in the Foundation for 4 months before the round, so characters absolutely could have run into him before! He did bounce around a little because of his broad range of skills so it's not site-dependant.

Hi my name is Gorse and some of you know me! I've been... flitting around the peripheries since the end of r1 and finally have the chance and the time to app in.

For this round I have... two potentials?

Character: Futaba Sakura
Canon: Persona 5
Age: 16 by now

Quick summary: A lot of you here know P5 already so I'll just skip to she's a very very Chaotic Good former-shut in hacker extraordinaire. She is a ball of trust issues, anxiety, and teenage rebellion after being framed for her mother's murder and going through a string of abusive relatives. It got a lot better when she landed with her adoptive father and met the Phantom Thieves tho. Audiophile and techie.

AU Backstory/Personality: I'm... still working things out. She's probably been here for around a year. She probably could be a C class agent, given her tech skills and the general utility of Support Personas, but she's... not always super cooperative. Like... not to the point of outright sabotage but she's a ball of trust issues and teenage rebellion. So. A lot of sass and backtalk, plus probably some minor to moderate protocol breaks. The only way I could see this being different is if she had somebody - either a close friend she's made in that time or a castmate - who'd be able to and patient enough to reign her in. But obviously I don't want to put that on anybody unless they're actually interested, haha.

Her powers being more useful from a "mission control" standpoint though, she's probably... seen a lot of those D-rank casualties and personality-wise that's probably been really rough on her. The end result of this will probably be her backsliding on her reluctance to reach out and engage with newer people, out of fear of getting attached. Once she does though she will latch on all the tighter and do as much as she can to keep safe (see those minor protocol breaks mentioned earlier).

She'll also want to keep an eye on as many of her castmates as she can, including the Akiren brigade, but obviously that's up to you all.


As for my other....

Name: Tataru Taru
Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
Age: 23ish (estimate)

Quick Summary: FFXIV has a lot of the typical trappings of a Final Fantasy game. Relevant to this case, there's an organization whose primary goal is to protect the world, which usually means fighting power-hungry godlike beings, other more mysterious godlike beings with mysterious motives, and the local evil empire. Tataru... is their secretary.

She's got no fighting skills at all (she's tried; multiple times), but she does have some minor healing abilities and aside from that, she is excellent with sums and can be highly persuasive. She's pretty much an omnicrafter in FFXIV and like... actually likes food service/public relations-type positions. Which is a superpower all in itself honestly. Don't underestimate her. She's blackmailed a pirate to his face and he caved. And got herself a harem in Kugane.

AU History/Personality: One of the fun parts with Tataru is figuring out how to make her work in an environment she wouldn't seem to, honestly. Tataru had a bit of a longer training than most agents probably, but she's been here closer to the two year span. Most of her skillset probably pushes her more towards the administrative/documentation side of things, although she's probably able to do PR things as well, so long as they don't require her to appear in person.

On the more personal side of things she's probably... a good morale boost among the D rank agents. Not only does she tend to occupy herself with such things intentionally, she also tends to lend herself well to comic relief. And there would be plenty of comic relief opportunities because Eorzea has many different races of people with different... physical statures/builds and thus generally has accessibility for them all. Earth doesn't.

You see, Tataru is a Lalafell. Give her her stepstools dammit.

Personality-wise, Tataru is... probably actually mostly intact. This isn't too different from what she used to do, when you get down to it, including the casualty risk. She's very very fretful about her friends back home though, since she'd be from after the most recent patch. You better bet your ass she's been waiting for Shadowbringers to come out so she can at least see if they'll be okay.

CHINHANDS AT FUTABA AND MMO POTATO BEAN hi Gorse!! I think we've played together at some point or other in the past, I want to say spellbind but I'm not actually sure, my memory is terrible at these things. But I do have like, an impression here!! It's good to see you at SCP. :D :DD

For Futaba, I have Aoi who is 1. Also a girl hacker, 2. A literal virtual avatar walking around, 3. ALSO Mission Control so I want to say that they definitely would have met and been around each other quite a bit when missions permit. Aoi has a relatively straitlaced and no-nonsense attitude most of the time, but she's also a YGO so being ridiculously extra and low-key shounen kind of comes with the territory. She can also showboat with the best of them if she really needs to (this will probably sometimes come up on missions). She is a past-rounder so she's part of the low-key rebellious movement that's been going on with all the past murder game survivors, and while I'm not sure how close they'd be at this point (Aoi is pretty bad at getting close to people laughs), she would encourage more pragmatic and sneakier ways of fighting the man at least. (Of course, then she and the other past-rounders went and punched a clown recently but that's neither here nor there.)

For this round I'm looking at bringing a loud angry shounen protag who's actually a giant three-headed hellhound in disguise. /o/ So either of yours could probably have run into him, he's basically a walking natural disaster that the Foundation likes to throw at their problems so he is probably generating a ton of paperwork for poor Tataru or giving Futaba fits in mission control because what is listening to people tbh. Nora is the absolute bane of people who are trying to get shit done in any kind of orderly fashion, lol, he's pretty much a personification of chaos.

He would totally try to bully Tataru because of her size because he's like that, but she's free to counter-bully, it's really easy.

Hello, newbie Ginshi here with Ozaki Toshio from Shiki!

He's 32, so more adult than most, but he's also a experienced doctor so that's expected for his age to be higher.

please be kind im just kinda stumbling through here

SO. Ozaki has been here around six months, or maybe a bit longer? idk. Probably a higher D rank?? I guess?? He's a medical doctor (General Practitioner) of good renown and while he spent an hour or two ruminating in an interrogation room when first brought in, he claims he "just needed time to sort out his thoughts after the shock of arriving" and has remained mostly cooperative. He acts very compliant, if casual, but he's been keeping an eye out, playing along until he gets all the information required to get out. He's in this for the long haul, and isn't one to show his cards freely.

He smokes too??? and likes to visit "gossip hotspots" (like bars, restaurants, or maybe even just water coolers??) occasionally, if he wants to collect data from other people about what kind of things are happening around town, or wants to plant his own rumor.

Open to any medical CR as well, he doesn't turn away people ever. Even if he figures "they're wasting the doctor's time" on the off chance this is the one time they do need actual medical help.

He's from Sotoba, lived there his whole life before SCP, if someone is close enough or a conversation steers that way he might mention it, which could then be connected to Natsuno (sotoshini) from R3 if the person has knowledge of him/Colorado round, but Ozaki hasn't run into Natsuno at all. He wouldn't bring natsuno up himself either, or the actual race of Shiki, from his time in Sotoba in general. iiii guess Ozaki has moved locations as he was told to, following the need for doctors specifically. He has not been to Colorado for sure, but others are fair game.

He's a dumb reckless shounen so he's definitely always getting banged up for no good reason, especially since he's still a mage playing at being a close range fighter (it's genuinely very hilarious he acts entirely like a dumb musclehead but he's actually better at spells still).

Also if Ozaki's keeping his ear to the ground he probably knows a bit about the Cerberus already. /o/ Which is basically his demonic alter-ego... how does he feel about treating demons tbh.

Trivia:

• Actually a gigantic red, white and black hellhound named Cerberus, his human form is just the sealed version that conserves magical power; there's one dog head up front and two snake heads in the back, that's how he rolls.
• Loud, abrasive and standoffish (read: tsun af) demon teenager who can use all the magical elements for his spells, but he literally can only use attack magic effectively, so uh, good luck on missions with him where he isn't just razing everything to the ground as Cerberus, he's also a spear user. He's basically 70% brawn and 30% brain RIP everyone.
• Has a tendency to pick fights with anything that moves and a ridiculous need to prove himself and also likes to bite off more than he can chew, so he's hard to get along with -- feel free to note if your character has clashed with him in the past or is allergic to dogs or whatever, I'm up for anything tbh.
• Mostly wears exercise gear and sometimes punk fashion because idk that's the way these things go, he also has three ponytails, hair ears and heterochromia because he's fucking ridiculous so like, feel free to have your character make fun of or remark on that; on that note calling him a dog or treating him like one (even when he's literally a giant dog Nora what) is also a surefire way to get him to blow up, have fun.
• Much like certain Servants, he's contracted to one of the higher-ups of the Foundation and while he isn't going to volunteer that information, the demonic contract thing and the fact that he has a collar and needs permission to go on missions and release his full power is absolutely a thing that he grumbles about now and then.

AU Backstory:

• Basically he was temporarily in jail back in his canon with his erstwhile master for being a dumb fighty bitch and then he ended up shut up in the Foundation so he totally thought it was just the demon jailers or whatever fucking around with him because he's a moron and got himself punished for trying to beat up the interviewer, because of course he did.
• It took fucking forever to train him, because while he already had a lot of the basics of combat down (it took him a bit to really get guns, but y'know whatever), teaching him shit like English and other more logistical things took so long (and probably figuring out his contract) that he was stuck in the facility for a while until he figured out that freedom = studying shit even if it was the worst.
• He's usually sent to more dangerous and/or frontline missions, and the more dangerous or troublesome they are the more likely you'll be seeing the Cerberus used to just magically steamroll everything because that's what it's for
• On that note, there will always be at least one agent there to act as containment in that if the Cerberus goes berserk, they are expected to either contain, calm, or eliminate the beast as necessary -- so feel free to have your character in this role at some point if it's something they'd end up with. The Foundation prefers to keep this asset alive due to sheer power level but y'know. He's still a 6350 gacha D-Class.
• He can usually be found training/beating up dummies/beating up random agents, eating as much food as he can get his hands on because that's important, messing around with things like comics and video games because he can, or threatening some hapless agent because he's annoyed with the Foundation. He doesn't like the Foundation but he's usually forced to follow orders due to his contract so RIP. He is also extremely bribeable he will do a lot for 3 pieces of bacon or some shit.
• I'll decide more about this in detail later in terms of missions and stuff but feel free to hit me up with ideas for established CR.

4th Walling: Up to his established canonpoint (tentatively Vol. 6 after the flashback and while they're in demon jail), if you know the canon and all. :]

AU CR Wanted: I mean, I'm flexible but I'd love to get him some sparring partners, people who have been on missions as conditional containment for Cerberus (see above), people he's fought with (whether in a serious way or not, he's a petty asshole so idk they could have fought over the last bagel or something), also long shot but friends?? Terribly socialized dog could use people that can actually deal with him, even if only in furry form or whatever. He's not a ton nicer to people closer to him because he's stupid and hissy but at the same time /waves at protag hat he is surprisingly loyal and will in fact take hits for you if you manage to get on his good side.

Round/Site: 2

Current Status: Beat up a clown and landed herself in solitary confinement for a bit, patiently keeping her head down and looking around for other opportunities for the rebellion in the Foundation. Also dating Cinque ofc.

CR Opportunities: She's a techie and a budding hacker and usually runs mission control, she's rarely in the field unless technical difficulties or needs absolutely require it (or unless it's a safer mission and idk an AI is being a shit or something). She's fairly well-known especially among D-Classes for 1) being a virtual idol IRL and 2) being both better for morale and more competent than some of her fellow NPC agents, which isn't hard, the bar is subterranean here. Also she's still in her virtual avatar body so y'know. That's a thing.

Character: Anon (Law of Ueki)
Round: 3

Current Status: Hella eloped with Natsuno Yuuki-Koide and they're just roadtripping the multiverse now using Watanuki's shop as a base. They can still be reached via text whenever they're back at the shop and ofc anyone at the shop can hang out with them when they're around.

CR Opportunities: Texting or if your character ever ends up floating in the multiverse or at Watanuki's shop for whatever reason! And he was only at the Foundation for a month and mostly under containment until R3 happened, but I'm still open for retroactive CR from that period if anyone would like -- granted most of it will be like, sparring or acquaintance-level stuff. He's a happy-go-lucky amoral demon-adjacent guy and his power is stealing people's powers and identities by swallowing them whole (they can be regurgitated after without any side effects or problems apparently) and the Foundation was basically feeding D-Classes to him for fun... So! If you want your character to have been experimental vore fodder feel free to let me know LOL.

★ Containment Brigade! ★

• Sandalphon was basically on hand to either knock out or wear down the Cerberus with his archangel nonsense. Other than that there's plenty of infighting on missions but somehow increasing cooperation?!?? No one knows how this works but it's fine kill count competitions are important. Nora hates coffee so they've probably fought over it at some point and gotten banned from the kitchen and/or gotten coffee banned from a site altogether.....
• Alcor is literally a weird star box OP thing so uh, fetch?? Maybe fetch is a thing?? Cerberus might have gotten thrown in the ocean at some point. It's fine, dogpaddling is life. He mooches weird magic food off him and yells at him for being too bright a Christmas ornament and stuff. What a weirdo.
• Vanitas tends to end up on dangerous missions with him and apparently gets along better with the Cerberus, which Nora is like ??? OK whatever fine. Doge chases Unversed and gets confused by dark portals: the life. He's probably punched a few Unversed by now but they're confusing critters to his magic vision. They've probably ended up sparring/training a few times even if Nora's still kinda haphazard about that.

• Azura with her soothing singing noises might be able to calm or delay or confuse Cerberus if necessary, Nora thinks she's just kind of a creepy puppet ghost horror movie princess (not necessarily in that order), and probably keeps trying to get her to do batshit things to see if she's a real girl.
• Saki on standby with her cantus to snap doggo spines if it comes to that; Nora accepts bribes of food for reduced collateral damage and they pretty much have a mildly yelly minder vs. hound relationship. He also vents to Saki about the Foundation and the latest gossip. They've been at the Foundation for about the same length of time.
• Silver is over here with his floaty psychic powers to make doggo dogpaddle in midair but also like, he's almost as creepy as Azura why is he so cheerful. Stop being friendly you're growing on him like some kind of weird stabby white fungus. Gross. White furry solidarity though???
• Azula has a pretty back-and-forth see-sawing fighty relationship with him and probably gave him a dumb nickname that he hates. It's fine. Her bending is probably enough to keep doge occupied if needed, and while Nora is extremely suspicious of manipulative firestarters he's grudgingly working with. Mostly. Ish.

*Bullets in red have actually met Cerberus, others have just been along on missions where it might have been needed but ended without furry hell in the end. o/

☆ EVERYTHING ELSE ☆

• George is deeply annoying to him for being a seeming sycophant to the Foundation and also being a condescending ass. They've somehow been stuck on a number of missions together to extremely varied results but Nora hasn't stopped side-eyeing him nor have his hackles come down from orbit at this point.
• Giriko is somehow slightly more acceptable on the surface than Azura because at least she's just outright straight up creepy and he can side-eye her properly. She freaks him allllll the way out this relationship is just Nora trying to run away really fast and failing probably. Or freaked out dog barks at chainsaw cloud idk. SAVE HIM.
• Ozaki has gotten himself saddled with this weird attitude demon at least a few times thanks to stupid shounen injuries and has probably heard of the Cerberus. Some kind of casual acquaintanceship. He probably reminds Nora of the last information dealer he ran across but with less drinking.
• Oda seems able to take weird feral Cerberus bullshit in stride. Weird. He's all into protecting D-Classes and taking hits for a literal demon-tank-dog. Double weird. SUPER WEIRD GUY he gets the permanent tsun status effect I guess.
• Poor Karen doesn't deserve Nora eating all his paperwork when she tries to help him....... He keeps mooching off her because she's willing to help with paperwork.
• Atsushi isn't allowed to go on missions with him anymore because Cerberus and Byakko on the same team and unleashed at the same time is just disaster?? Who authorized this?? They probably totally wrecked everything on that mission and Cerberus had to wrestle the tiger into submission..... smh. Nora also makes fun of him for destroying his clothes all the time, they're just max petty at the water cooler levels now. #furryproblemslife

I think Oda and him could hit it off somehow!!! He already has a feral child as a subordinate, so he'd probably know how to calm Nora down...most likely by bribing him with food. Not only that, but Oda also goes to dangerous/front-line missions in order to protect the D-agents, so I feel he has probably taken a hit or two while shielding Nora.

Time in the Foundation: Uno (1) Year
Rank: C

History: From the beginning, Oda was a model Agent. Even after being taken into the organization, he agreed to cooperating with the Foundation without any questions or demands. It was a little surprising for the Foundation, but in a good way. Even training was easy for him, and got out in a couple of weeks. His gun wielding and fighting skills are excellent, but what the Foundation likes the most about him is his ability to see five to six seconds in the future.

He goes on missions that have high risks, and usually prefers to offer himself up as volunteer instead of the Foundation sending the greenhorn D-class agents. He's actually quite protective of them, though he has a hard time interacting with others. He's probably out on the field quite a bit but does paperwork maybe once in a blue moon.

Personality: He's quiet and tries to keep to himself, though he has a soft spot for D-class and is very protective of them. Though he's very skilled, he's not exactly confident in them and has no idea why he's in the C-class. He doesn't want to get close to other agents, but wants to protect them from getting hurt, and will even put himself on the line for them.

Those who are closer to him will know that he's got a bit of a snarky side and maybe cracks a joke every once in a while...but he always looks deadpan, so good luck in figuring out if he's really joking. He's not very smart and easily tricked, but doesn't seem to mind at all. Can this man even feel anger?

He also really likes curry. This is important.

Desired CR: Anything!!! Oda's not the most social butterfly, but he's also very open to any kind of friendship or relationship in general. Maybe he saved your agent in a mission once? Maybe he's complained about the food in this place? Let's find out! Come to me here or @ plurk odasaku

...Also Oda would probably be appalled at how reckless he is with his own safety when it comes to protecting people. And his abysmal firearms proficiency.

Saki is newly C-class, has been D-class for most of her time here because grumbles about not being permitted on missions involving killing or testing human SCPs. She's not much of a front line fighter due to her main power being telekinesis, but she always does everything she can with it to try to minimize casualties. If they were assigned on a mission together while she was D-class, she probably gently chided him about needing to look out for his own health, too :T

Quick personality summary: He's pretty much a normal highschool student who is basketball nerd!! He can be pretty outspoken and definitely rude at first especially towards anyone who mocks him for his height. One thing that stands about him is that he's very short and it is something he is very sensitive about when his girlfriend dumped him for a guy who was almost 7' tall because who wouldn't get a complex after that. For anyone who gets to know him well enough, he is pretty an idiot who means well and is actually a kind person underneath it all who would do anything for his friends.


AU History: (this is very rough since I'm still working on the details)

He is totally a newbie from being here for the minimum of six months. Most likely spent most of his time slowly training up. Slowly being the keyword here because he is not that quick on the update and from being a normal highschool student, he was very weirded out by this and it's been a difficult for him to deal with it. He's not always cooperative but he does try his best.

Legit, due to his... talents... very few people know Ingway in the Foundation. A lot of people have met him, but fewer know him. Legit, what is his name? We just don't know. Thanks to [REDACTED] reasons and all that. More likely they have seen the Darkova if they are powerful enough to be sent to fight big SCPs- and then maybe his human form for a few moments before he's dragged back off to containment. Oops.

BUT there's a very real chance that Ingway might know your character without them realizing it. Character: Sandalphon (also known as Sandy, Sandals, sad/angry coffee angel, etc.)
Canon: Granblue Fantasy
Age: 2000+
Time in Foundation: 6 months
Agent Rank: as if he would give enough fucks to promote above D-Class 

AU Background:

• Was uncooperative and difficult during their intake interview, leading to him getting locked away/subdued at least once before finally agreeing to work with the Foundation (some form of manipulation was probably involved though). Needless to say, the experience didn't warm Sandy up to the Foundation and the feeling was pretty much mutual!
• Was p much impatient and tetchy throughout all of his training although he managed to pick things up at a reasonable pace because fuck if i know what language they speak in gbf tbh. He absolutely gave his firearms trainer a dead-eyed stare at least once though 
• In general, he's sent out on the front lines because most of his abilities lean towards combat and he has no patience for doing paperwork. Incidentally, he's also probably one of those guys that people chase down for reports after a mission because hahaha what is submitting anything
• He's cooperative in the barest sense of the word: he more or less does whatever missions he's given (reports aside), but his irritable nature combined with instances of overconfidence and disobeying orders means he's basically stuck at D-class for life 
• He spends most of his free time moping about in his room (which is probably full of coffee plants, lbr), so it's unlikely to really see him out and about most of the day. With that said, he's most consistently found during mealtimes and that's 100% because he's there to just make his own damn coffee in the cafeteria kitchen; he's also at his most amiable there and generally willing to make a cup for someone unless he outright hates them. He's pretty skilled at what he does and surprisingly good at remembering what people have asked for though
• He was actually pretty okay being transferred to the California site because maybe!!! he can finally grow his coffee trees outside

Character Personality:

• Imagine speaking with a moody teenager who's like you'll never understanddddddd and that's more or less what it's like to interact with Sandalphon. Curt, abrasive and aloof with moments of snideness, he seems to try his best to keep some distance from others, preferring to keep his conversations focused on business rather than indulging people with small talk. Despite his caustic personality, he won't go out of his way to pick fights with people since he's more content to stay in his own little corner and sulk.
• He wears his disdain for the Foundation openly on his sleeve but he still seems to be sticking around and helping anyways.  
• For those that he finds tolerable, it can be surprisingly easy to beg/pester him for favours (within limits)
• He's actually a decent team player on the field, attitude aside. He's not the type who would just abandon people he's working with, so he would try his best to get everyone out alive, even if he may grumble about it afterwards. He does have his haughty moments though, which leads to some reckless behaviour because he can solo this shit no problem!!! ...except when he can't

Miscellaneous Points:

• He's an archangel, which actually means something pretty different in gbf lore but a lot of the stereotypes still apply (has wings, light-based powers, etc.). While he's not particularly shy about what he is, neither will he shout it out from the rooftops either, but feel free to have your character pick up on it anyways just because of his powerset and sometimes referring to people as mortals or what have you. (Or you know, if they ever hear his name.)
• if there are any coffee-related SCPs, he's not allowed to touch them.
• you will never see him wearing footwear that has less than 2 inches of heel
• he almost never addresses people by their actual fucking names and in fact seems to think that descriptive phrases work well enough (e.g. girl in blue, crimson dragon, etc.). feel free to suggest shit that he could potentially call your character!!

Desired CR:
slams fists on table give me anything!!! It's probably more likely that he'll run into people while working on a mission together but also pestering him for coffee or mistaking him for a cafeteria worker or something is also fun. It's unlikely he'll get super close to people as he is atm but he would definitely find some people more tolerable than others. His personality being what it is also means I would love negative CR for him too because he can be pretty passive aggressive and petty laughs

AU History:
◙ Initially he was pretty uncooperative during intake! He didn't try to fight the interviewer but he did yell a lot and threaten them. But after about a week or so he did a pretty sharp 180 and completely changed his tune. Weird, maybe?!
◙ Training did not take long at all because Koku is more than an adept fighter, and he's familiar with tech as well (though he dislikes using his phone/computers and only does it when necessary). He also probably knew English beforehand.
◙ After that he likely spent sometime in one of the bases just being checked out by various scp doctors/agents because of his powers.
◙ Once they were reasonably sure he wasn't going to go week 1 redux on them, he's been both a front line fighter as well as used for precision targets.
◙ He's been bouncing around sites wherever he's needed the most, and he's pretty friendly though won't necessarily go out of his way to be social but will chat up people if it looks like they need help.
◙ In his downtime you can find him playing the violin! Occasionally you can find him in the kitchen making things like gumbo, soups, and comfort meals. He can't bake at all, but he will more than happily trade for baked goods esp red bean buns.

Personality:
◙ Koku is laid back, friendly, and generally very helpful and kind about 75% of the time! ...On missions he's very determined, cold, aggresive, no-nonsense but don't take this to mean boring because he has this whole shounen transformation thing going on where he sprouts wings, turns ebony, gains a mystical eye and a bladed arm + leg. just look for yourself here.
◙ While he's pretty friendly he's not very open eith information about himself, and he will 100% redirect the topic to his conversation partner.
◙ He's used to working alone, but he's completely willing to be a team player even if he might zip off sometimes oops. But he will totally come back to save if a teammate is in trouble once he's done tunnel visioning.
◙ His attitude towards the Foundation is amiable and while he's not the type to suck up he's probably asked any other higher agents if they needed help with anything. And he is for sure gunning for C-Class.

Misc:
◙ While he diligently will submit his paperwork/post mission debriefs, he.. handwrites them for some reason? Sorry not sorry?
◙ Anything that needs handiwork he's happy to look at/attempt to restore, his specialty is wood working.
◙ He likes to hear about history!

Desired CR:
◙ One of his powers is the ability to erase memories. This is something the Foundation only let him test out on other agents in the past few months, but I'd love to play this out with someone \o.
◙ Sparring partners/mission partners. He's pretty different in mission/fighting mode and he is very much looking to get stronger. As far as power scales go he has insane regeneration, and equally insane speed. We're talking moving so fast it looks like he's teleporting, and being able to eat multiple katana's in his abdomen. His blades are made of a blue alloy that can slice through pretty much anything.
◙ ...Someone who can make clothes/ a tailor cause like. Every time he grows his wings RIP that shirt.
◙ Doctor/medical cr! He has a lot going on as a demihuman and he's really very used to people poking and prodding at him.

History:
☆ His interview was a mess. Not because he was combative, but because the interview went in philosophical circles and it probably took several interviewers before one figured out how to get him be direct and not wax poetic.
☆ Alcor is D-Rank because while eventually he got on board with agreeing to join the Foundation, it's his definition of it. Sometimes he completes missions perfectly and sometimes he just goes completely off the rails and decides to do something else entirely. Sorry for whoever is paired up with him, it probably is a crapshoot on whether you get useful Alcor or Alcor who sits back and watches.
☆ When he's at base he's very curious about all the humans milling about and will happily approach to strike up a conversation if something catches his eye. This can vary from mundane stuff like chatting about coffee to him randomly asking about a character's regrets in life. Everything and anything in between.
☆ There are times when he seemingly isolates himself though, and in those times you can find him in the tech lab, working away at computers oddly enough. And sometimes he hangs out in random high places just people watching like a creeper.

Personality
☆ Alcor is... well an oddball. He's distinctly not human which is easy to figure out in the first 10 seconds or so of talking to him. Prone to tangents, very curious, whimsical, and unapologetically himself.
☆ He doesn't have a firm grasp of humor or sarcasm so he can be fun to play with here, and maybe teach bad habits. He can also be pretty devious in that he knows some things are faux paus, but hey he's not going to follow them anyway~.
☆ Underneath all of his personal brand of individuality (weirdness), he easily gets his head lost in the clouds and is prone to overthinking.
☆ In general while he's very chill and pretty much will go with the flow on most things, he does have hard lines when his patience begins to fray; he's completely capable of sounding like well, a demon or judgemental God when this happens. No problem literally snapping his fingers and burning someone to a crisp either, depending on the situation.

Misc:
☆ He floats. All the time, always. Walking is too hard okay.
☆ While he doesn't need to eat he's a great cook! It's certainly magical cooking, but it tastes good so it's fine!?!
☆ His paperwork is submitted timely but he may have just. made a program to randomly generate a debriefing rather than make an actual one each time.
☆ Powerwise he's basically just below God tier, but he's actually not a fan of fighting unless it's necessary. He has so many magic spells, and while he's generally resistant to everything, he's especially resistant to fire and electricity.

Desired Cr:
☆ Do you play a protag? If you do, he can spot them a mile away (yes even if non-traditional ones) and he's prolly stalked your char at some point. He would chat them up about anything and everything at all hours of the night.
☆ Demons! So he's responsible for why humans can summon demons in canon and he's pretty familiar with them. He's definitely not enamored with them like he is with humans which means it's easier to see his prickly side, but he has an interest here in ones he's never met before.
☆ If anyone wants negative CR, he really has a huge problem with anyone who oppresses people?? Or people who do things for no reason: aka world destroyers who want to destroy just cause.
