Dreamland (round 3)

[A strange house of some sort sits in the pitch black nothingness that exists around it. For those just now wandering in, they will be drawn to the building, finding it lit up in a way that it should not be. It's as if the whole area- house, yard, fence, and giant sakura tree- all give off their own light, and the newly-arrived are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

Inside the boundary of the yard, the familiar faces of those who have passed on already will greet them. Depending on who is asked, they might give an accurate explanation. But even if they don't, one thing is clear: you don't want to leave this place. The area outside feels Dangerous, and it is probably best to stay put.

Fortunately, the house is built in an old style, and there are many rooms to explore. One room on the second floor seems locked, but the rest are open to explore as desired. The standard rooms are easy to find: kitchen, a W.C. and a bathroom, a sitting room of some sort, and a couple bedrooms (with plenty of futons for the dead to use). There are also several tatami mat rooms with nothing in them currently, but it seems like there might be some use for those rooms.

Around the house, perches for birds can be found. No birds are on them currently, though.

Sometimes Watanuki can be found in the house, but most of the time the dead will be left to their own devices. The question is, what will they do here?]

[He takes in a long breath at the retelling. It's a visceral form of rejection he's feeling, the retelling featuring his body doing such terrible things.

For the moment, he'll retreat into the comfort of cold logic, the aspects of him that is a detective]

[See this is the reason he never brings the dead in until after the trial.

Though he's looking very pale right now, and he might be sweating a bit.]

[Anon is still restless and unhappy — though he’s at least no longer wearing a trail into the floor like yesterday — and keeps giving the direction of the trial dark looks; he’s probably judging their fellow Pieces right now.]

If they let this killer go...

[Make that definitely judging. He really doesn’t have all that much faith in their trial results after last week. Maybe his standards are too high?

Or he’s just taking things out on Trial Channel since there’s no other outlet.]

[That's absolutely flippant, yeah, though his expression doesn't match it -- he's watching the trial intently, frowning a little at the whole wish thing.

It's hard to tell how he feels about it, apart from the peanut gallery commentary.]

[Wheatley's reverted to object head mode (human features are inconvenient to use properly) and he's looking rightfully worried about this trial.]

Uh... Sorry, I don't mean to interrupt any speculation or anything, but what if this was for the bringing people back to life motive? Is there some sort of thing we need to prepare for if... If that does happen?

Nobody had prepared anything last week. No one who was on this end already, at least.

To be honest, I'm pretty certain that the killer did this for the motive. I don't know if there's anything to prepare, but--

I think that at the very least if someone does wind up coming back, or someones for that matter, we need to continue to keep this place a secret at all costs.

I dunno, can I trust all of you to not say a thing if you get brought back to life? Shadow and Koide-san have been handling that responsibility pretty well so far.

[He watches as the demon lunges himself in front of Nirrti, shocking coming over his own face at the action before knitting back.]

...I don't think that one is going to be as passive as the others.

I've been wondering why she didn't use her Pieces like this from the start. She probably thought it would be too hard for her opponents.

[When the demon died, or was exorcised it's more accurate to say, he staggers, wincing in pain, but there was relief - the thing was gone and no longer tormenting everyone else wearing this face]

[Suddenly, his eyes snapped opened as he clutches his head, falling to his knees as he suddenly screamed in pain]

[ There's a been of something frantic in Tsubasa's voice when he hears those words, not to mention notices that he seems to be in pain. ]

[In the courtroom, Shadow seems to sit down and cross his legs to meditate.

Which means he's running back to the dreamland]

[ So, he's been quiet almost the entire time since he got here, but then there's this bullshit. ]

[Shadow watches as Sherlock, Karen, and Tsubasa vanish from Watanuki's soul realm. He looks at those still present, then speaks to Natsuno in particular]

Koide. I need you to do something for me. Go back to the other world, and watch over Watanuki. I need to stay here and keep the peace.

[because he suspects that as soon as Watanuki drops the dead off, there's going to be fireworks]

[Right. So.

When this happens, Watanuki suddenly appears with their four new dead friends and tosses them into the shop yard.

But more importantly, the gate closes behind him.]
